Boost
I pay already, so I expect ZERO ADS, including ads from Grindr. Boost is a really bad idea which facilities the notion that "it's ok for users to cheat/jump to the front of the queue if Grindr can make money." Obviously based on the ever increasing volume of banner and popup ads, boost is not a financially successful idea, so Grindr is doubling down on the bad idea by advertising constantly to paid users rather than abandoning the bad idea. Advertisement that pop up so frequently, though problematic, understandable, the only issue, why buttons/x’s/ close buttons are so small and difficult to close, most of the time, attempting to press the close/exit button accidentally triggers opening of the advertised app. Seems anti-customer/user friendly tactic, especially when the customer/user waited the allotted time duration, and the small close bottom triggering opening the App Store unintentionally wasting the user/customer’s time having to the close the App Store and then returning to Grindr to have to try to close the ad on Grindr as well.

Less commercials
Cut back on the commercials they’re getting ridiculous!! I look at one profile and it goes to another damn commercial! It’s getting old!!!

The ads automatically down load when your trying to exit out of them and its annoying every time it happens.
Stop letting these ads for apps automatically download when. I'm trying to exit out. It's basically a virus with unfamiliar software and stealing my info to sell

Audience specific ads
Given what Grindr is (an app for men and trans to find and meet other men and trans) I find it odd the amount of ads I’m served to meet hot women, download an all to build sexy anime girls or download a game to help an ugly girl be pretty so some straight guy acknowledges her.
It seems a little deaf to the audience and lazy on the advertiser to not push the same product with a gay marketing narrative.
I find it such a strange choice to allow these sexuality specific ads to exist in this place.

Targeted ads only!
Ok I get having a banner and a pop up every now and again you need to make money… great the “no nut November” campaign that was specifically targeted at gay men was great!! You have way too many adds
I load Grindr I have an add, I close a chat, I get and add, close another chat, I get an add… you now have adds randomly popping up. I’m getting so sick of these adds your about to lose a person and I’m sure more will follow because it’s way to annoying to DO ANYTHING on this app anymore.
It’s clear you want everyone to pay to go add free so you will annoy us with them. I’m not stupid. But you’re getting paid for the adds, paid for the subscriptions… seriously people… settle your greedy butts down before…
