Hiding your location is essential for people who want to protect their privacy from those they live and work with.
This app forces you to dox yourself constantly to use it.
Others at work or nearby neighbors now have access to your profile and location.
It's so much easier to be targeted for harassment now (or worse).
Totally unsafe.

With some phone, mock location work better than GPS that can be very long to localise.
And for security/privacy reason to.
To stop spam and abuse, can we simply autorise it for profil existing between few month.
Or just analyse the number of chat per minutes or hour.

Pls allow this. It affects people's privacy a lot! And why do you even prohibit this for people who pay for membership? Considering stop the subscription and change to other apps which allow this.

I can accept that there're several cons, like the fav page cannot refresh sometimes, the slow review speed for profile pics, but totally can't accept the disallowance of the mock location.

Some bad guys now can use this app to track gay and bully us, people can use this app to test and find out gay around them. This violates the original intention that all users of this app should be safe.

Deleted my account (and many my friends too) because the mock location is essential for privacy and security, hiding only the meters does not save you from far-right homophobes living in your neighborhood, so you cannot locate yourself in a friendly area where you can show your face and be yourself. Thisi is the this is the worst thing you could do to lgbt guys who already live in non open minded places. Really disappointed, I will be using Tinder and Romeo

As a Transgender women in a rural community losing the ability to shield my identity from the closeted bigots right wing politics have birthed has turned me off the app entirely. My inbox went from potential matches to straight up hate speech and threats of outing. I understand apps need ways to make money, but this is one area where safety should outweigh greed.

Is not only for those who live in isolated areas, but a matter of privacy too, especially if you live in intolerant countries, and/or you simply have annoying neighbors. At least with mock locations you can try to protect that little privacy. And no, disabling "Show My Distance" is useless. Please, bring back the mock location! We use it to being able to connect with guys who live in the city nearby my countryside home. Thanks to it i've made so many friends and even some boyfriends.
