Interesting thought you have there mostly because of how flawed it is. Just because someone is transsexual does not mean they are gay. A trans-man is someone born a female that wants to become a man. That means there is a good chance a trans-man does not have a penis but in fact has a vagina. Since they were born a woman they would not suck a dick like a gay man but like a straight woman they may take it in the ass or the vagina, flip side if they don’t have a penis they cannot top. Even if the trans-man has completed all the surgeries that changes the anatomy but does very little to the physiology. Meaning they may have a penis but they cannot get a natural erections or have an ejaculation in the same way someone born as a man can.

100% agree with this! Grindr should have a version of the app specifically for trans people. Most of the trans profiles on Grindr are obviously fake (made by AI). Grindr refuses to prevent even fake trans profiles from being posted because they don’t want to ‘offend”. So ridiculous! Grindr is a lost cause. My advice is to cancel your Grindr subscription and find a better app!

Expressing sexual DISINTEREST is NOT discrimination. Inclusion and acceptance are SOCIAL issues that have no place in a conversation regarding sexual inclinations. I will never be sexually interested in women, trans or crossdressers, and that is perfectly acceptable.

I have no interest in using an app for every orientation, as I only want to connect with other gay men. I don't want to filter and ignore 30 women, just to get to see a single gay member. Female and trans profiles on a gay app is like adding bacon to a vegan meal: it might add some flavor, but it still ruins the purpose of being vegan. It still ruins the desired experience.

the odds you were banned from Grindr for being trans are no-existant.

It has to be something else like... your behaviour on it... or third party tools that can alter security etc (ie. Vpns mock locations etc )

Anyway when you are banned, there must be the reason of your ban in the email.

If you feel like it s a mistake from Grindr, you can also submit to ticket to make appeal for the ban.

You might have to ask yourself what you did wrong instead of calling everyone/everything transphobic.

Grindr has a “Trans” tribe that you can identify as and filter by. I find it hard to believe they would ban members of a group that they created a tribe for, members of a group that they have advertisements from. Grindr does all users to report others for fake profiles, harassment, hate speech, trying to sell things, underage users, underage pictures, open discussion about illegal activity. So did you identify as a gay male top when you do not have a penis and so you are not physically equipped to top? If you did that would be a fake profile, similar to someone identifying as a runner who is paralyzed from the waste down. How can someone identify as someone who performs an action that they are not physically capable of performing?

There are adds on grindr specifically targeting trans people. That is why grindr will ignore any comments or concerns about limiting grindr to gay men. Money talks and bullsh*t walks. It’s like politics, unless your giving them money they don’t care what you think.

I feel like labeling people and putting them in groups has been a political tool used in the past. Oh that’s right Nazi Germany, the Spanish Inquisition, the crusades, England under Bloody Mary, segregation, Salem witch trials, the United States civil war, currently in the Middle East and China.
