Seems like excessive number of Grindr apologists. The rules say no AI pics but Grindr is using AI to generate profiles.
The only way any app can honestly say they are concerned about fairness as and safety is to allow unlimited blocks and only ban if real laws are broken and the person used Grindr to facilitate or is convicted of the crime in court of law. Anyone should be able to block anyone for any or no reason, but no one should be able to fabricate some claim that they're made to feel unsafe to have someone banned. Grindr doesn't give a shit about safety or privacy, it's all about political ideology.

When Grindr creates the profile in the first place, your blocking is pointless. Automatically reconstituted because you need to see a grid full of freaks, creeps, and twinky trannies so that you'll think that is normal. Grindr uses AI to generate and propagate such profiles.

109% accurate. You can see some number of profiles. A good portion are fakes created by Grindr using AI. You get to deal with the crap, but it reduces the total legit profiles you can see

Yes, Grindr is busy creating fake profiles using a.i.
1. It is not at all transphobic that a gay man might not find trans -identifying persons sexually appealing.
2.; nor is it transphobic the he might find them sexually repulsive.
3. It is not transphobic to find fake profiles created BY GRINDR to be genuinely fraudulent. Grindr prohibits users to perpetuate this sort of fraud. Many, (if not most,) trans -identifying profiles are fake profiles which are AI bots created by Grindr.
Conclusion: in the interest of user safety and security, and out of respect for the men who pay for this site, the ability to block trans-identifying and trans - seeking persons is the ONLY logical and respectful option. It respects those who simply do not find either post surgical MTF or FTM individuals, as well as trans identifying pre surgical individuals, (aka drag queens and cross - dressers,) to be sexually desirable partners. At the same time it allows users to avoid the fraudulent fake profiles that permeate this category. The notion that this is transphobic is a lie propagated by people who are acting as if it's ok to be trans, but not OK to be gay.
