Ads on this app slow it down to the point of that it's basically unusable at times - especially for folks with older devices. They precent me from scrolling, clicking, etc.

Grindr has paying members so it doesn't need ads to make money. Remove the ads they are so annoying and a waste of time, especially that stupid candy crush one

Why am I getting all these pop up ads when I am a paying member?

I also have a problem with full screen ads appearing right when you are doing something accidentally causing you to click it. I know that you are trying to increasing your click through rate and make more money but this is incredibly annoying and opens up all sorts of link. This is even more problematic when you don’t filter your ads for spam and the users end up opening spam links. If you were to incentivize watching ad (for example by bringing back see more users after watching an ad) it would be much more preferable.

The new Call of Duty ads are incredibly disturbing — very triggering — why is there no way to opt out? I never knew how much I could miss the Pokémon Go ads!

I have been tweeting about this to Grindr. We need more ppl making this issue public.
There should be no reason that Grindr thinks it is acceptable to use gun violent advertising as a source of income.
I'm using the hashtag #LGBTviolence .

I'd be willing to pay a small monthly fee ($2-$3) just to not have ads. I don't need any of the other features that come with the me expensive subscriptions. I just wanna get rid of the ads!!!

Thank you for also feeling this way, it's really disgusting that I have to sit through blood and gore to connect with men.

These ads are inconsistent with Grindr's philosophy of togetherness, pleasure, **** and love. Graphic violence has no place in society in general, and Grindr in particular.

There is a game advertisement which puts someone into the perspective of a ******, targeting a criminal. The ad is triggering. I think there should be a screening of which ads are allowed if their nature is violent.

The ads get annoying. Sometimes I don’t even want to click on a profile picture because a ******* ad pops up and to top it off sometimes there’s double ads. One ad a day would be good to see not every ******* time I click on a profile

Full screen ads are fine. Full screen ads that have a timer til the x button appears are fine too. FULL SCREEN ADS WITH NO WAY TO CLOSE ARE NOT OKAY. The process in which you review the ads allowed in your app needs some work.

When playing a video ad, it'd be nice to be able to mute it. If Grindr sound is off, ads should be too
