The cost of Grindr
I think you should do a reduction in your prices as they are absolutely outrageous!! I've always been happy with the basic one as I dont need to know if someones read my message or not, But, if your prices were lower more people would consider it. Why not try and and be the same prices as fellow apps, or just slightly at a higher rate.

Well I’ve noticed how the majority of initial profiles on free memberships are mainly offline but the moment you come to the section which if paid for would release 600 more profiles and funnily enough most of those guys ARE online.
Maybe Grindr could stop rigging the app in order to deviously and manipulate those guys who are not paying into paying because of the suspect set up practices being adopted.
Gauging gay, bi, straight, trans and trans appreciative people to get dick (or whatever) by being pricks is a BS practice.

The prices are indeed absurdly high, which worse features that you could get from free on websites like Gaydar.co.uk 20 years ago. It's laughable

I support this 100% absolutely ridiculous prices really pricing yourself out of full members

With the number of users you have, $25 a year for the first level would be plenty of income, and $50 a year for all options would be totally reasonable. Your current prices show that you have little interest in the users outside of earning enough to live extremely comfortable. If you are making more than the low side of middle income earner than you are just profiting off of your users and not providing a service for them to make the community safer.

It's really expensive and you really don't get that much we are talking about Tulsa boys here I don't necessarily know that they're worth the price

I thought about it but describing things to people who are clearly delusional or aliens would be spinning wheels.
How many people work at Grindr? Is this even a real company or like what’s going on? If you fired everyone and restarted nobody could even tell because you could just keep one person to post the same nonsense claims on the updates pages and there you go. Business as usual. But who knows maybe it could be better. Certainly couldn’t get worse. Your “improvements” and “bug fixes” also make me consider maybe you’re all nonnative English speakers and confused improved with needlessly removed, or just straight up the opposite of improved or fixed. Thesaurus? New coders? Auditors? Anybody in charge? Directors? Cause really over a decade and this not even polished turd is all you have? Expensive dingy turd for 100% way too much. You usually don’t charge for alpha software. And if you do, you don’t get to be Adobe… your brand sucks and struggles with basic functionality that founded the basis of the internet. Text and images with “filters”… literally Web 1.0 technology, you somehow made slow buggy stuttering and unreliable in an age where forks, spoons and other stuff have processing power more than capable or handling the BASICS that your coders somehow messed up so badly an iPhone struggles with it?
Also where can I apply? I’m probably over qualified because I taught myself some HTML and CSS and Ajax…. But I’m very passionate about getting paid way too much for less than nothing literally removing features and weakening the ones we didn’t remove at literally nobodies request.

Lower monthly rates for areas with low populations extra isn't worth it if majority aren't in same Province

Yes exactly! I'd rather not get laid than pay what they want. Their ads are literally only aimed at getting you to pay a stupid obscene price. I'll buy the app for a small one time fee but that outrageous monthly fee? No fucking way

ABSOLUTELY. or at least CHEAPER! this is the most popular app in the gay community and the cheapest option for the premium subscription is $20 a month! that is insane. they are gatekeeping how we interact with one another, and it is already hard enough as it is.

I don't want ads on a service I pay for. End of story.

It should be free. It should be a one time charge to join the app but then you have full access. If you delete account you pay to make new one. With all the gay ppl in the entire world Grindr would still make alot of money this way

The cost of Grindr is much higher than other apps for example Scruff is around £60 for 1 year & you can do ten times more but it’s less popular in some countries. I’m paying £93 for Grindr Unlimited for 1 year (probably because I have had Unlimited from the day it was launched) but my friends are being asked to pay £209.99 for 1 year. Grindr Xtra or Unlimited doesn’t offer much to justify these subscription charges. Grindr server goes down pretty much every day.

It's getting too expensive...especially for long term users. Feels like just another money grab from the gay community.

It’s should be the same price as any other kind of subscription like Netflix, Hulu, snack boxes etc.

You shouldn't have to pay for the services instead you should only pay to join the app and download it. The amount of men who use Grindr would still make it lots of money this way.
It should just be pay to join and that's it. If you delete account you just pay to rejoin -

Let's Grindr lowering this cost when we got premium. At our country Philippines is too expensive to buy premium in grindr. Your team should aware of costing specially at lower income party like me. Did you know that 1 month subscription cost 649 pesos but other app costing much 300 pesos a month. Even unlimited cost 2,000 pesos a month? Really too expensive.

By lowering the price you’ll have far more consumers purchasing the upgraded features. The Features you charge for are also helpful to prevent fraud, harassment, and so much more. Please consider this. You’d be protecting your users from and potential law suits because let’s face it, one day someone will sue you over something.
