Double standards on profile picture
Grindr has double standards on profile profile
Grindr no nudity allowed as a profile picture
Yet if you have a sexy body they bend the rules

Unconstitutional Infringement of freedom of speech. A year ago “fuck Trump” was evidently completely acceptable as a profile name and today “let’s go Brandon” gets you harassment warnings and unauthorized deletion of the screen name by Grindr. Painfully obvious double standard covered in hypocrisy.

It would be nice if I can use a filter to stop seeing people with nudes on their profile photos. Sometimes I can’t use at work or in public for that. It would be nice if there’s just a filter for that, instead, of my friends thinking I am watching porn, even when I tell them it’s just GRINDR!

How about we allow guys like me who are thicker and chubby to show off our big booties COVERED AND CLOTHED, and not get our photos denied for "sexually suggestive" when thinner more fits guy can be FULLY NUDE AND SHOWING OFF THEIR BUTTS! Discrimination with Grindr moderators is DISGUSTING

I think it is unfair when I post pictures that is NOT NUDITY it gets denied but yet you have several profiles showing their ass and dicks but you don't discriminate against them. You need to do better.

This mf has his damn dick out but I can’t show a HINT of pubes? Wtf Grindr
-

That’s because they discriminate against people that are not attractive. Attractive people can have all the nude photos they want, But if your average or not fit, they block it immediately

Since when did Grindr allow full nudity as profile picture I’ve seen multiple accounts with full nudity when I reported it nothing happened reported the account as said nude photos as profile picture again nothing happened

Nudity getting out of hand, more profiles showing up with bare asses, penis's, users are just using colored lines drawn over photos as camouflage.... really, Sure GRINDER is about Sexual Activity, but upfront nudity cheapens the site, ad a PRIVATE PHOTO option the user can UNLOCK for approved viewers, its done on other sites, can't be that Difficult to develope and install.... Make it a premium feature, make GRINDR some money.... Besides, you can send NUDES through the messages....

Por qué decís que no se permite fotos de desnudez, fotos en calzoncillos y con el torso descubierto y luego hay decenas de fotos así?
Me parece injusto -

There could be a machine learning solution to counteract the nudes/pornographic images . At the same time you can single image as an identity or generate som hash-able to control repeated use of others user images . I mean these all things could improve the outlook of the community and the vicious cycle of socal and emotional abuse.

Más de cuatro horas para aprobar una foto de perfil es demasiado Por favor agilizar los tiempos y procurar no confundir un torso con un desnudo Que censurais muchas fotos sin motivo. Gracias.

If a photo can be approved on tinder then it should be approved on grindr.

This happens all the time. I had a picture up for nearly a year then it was suddenly ‘implied nudity’. You can email them, and they give you the same copy paste BS answer for everything. Eventually it’s going to go to a discrimination lawsuit. I’m shocked it hasn’t already. Maybe they will finally have a proper moderation review then. I don’t have my hopes high.

You need a better way to approve or deny photos. Once a photo has been approved, it should stay approved. I shouldn’t have a photo taken down a year or so after it’s been up. If it makes it through your crappy screening process it can’t be that bad. I don’t want dick pics up as main profile pics. But heaven forbid showing more than 2” below your bellybutton.
My suggestion is consistency and valid reasons why something is denied.

Hello! This must be really frustrating, thanks for letting us know.
We use a combination of machine learning and human review for photo uploads. Unfortunately neither are 100% accurate, though of course we work really hard to set high standards. I assure you we do not have a secret other set of rules for attractive people!
In this case, the photo is definitely is against our community guidelines for photo rules - can you please report the photo so our moderation team can take another look? -

Agree!!
It sucks when they reject pics of me that are less lascivious and have no intention and show less of a bulge than many other profiles around -

When I go to post a picture of my chest, which fades darker the further down it goes - thus, never revealing anything below the belly button, it is denied because it is “sexually suggestive”, but another user one mile away has not one, but 2 profile pics where he is completely nude except for a tiny pink thong outlining his package. Another one I have tried to get approved is a picture of a woman walking down the middle of a road with a popsicle stick in her mouth, and that one is denied because it’s somehow “drug related??” I don’t understand how one guy can get away with 2 practically nude profile pics but mine are too much? I’ve attached the 2 pics of the half naked guy and the pic of my girl and her popsicle stick.
