I am only interested in Asians. Is there a way to filter just what I'm looking for?

I’m only attracted to black men and with the ethnicity filter removed the app is useless. I’m going back to dating girls. Thanks Grindr for messing with my love life.

Preference - a greater liking for one versus another

Big difference! Political correctness will not force me to be attracted to someone that I am not attracted to. It’s not racist it’s what your mind selects. I wish we could go back to the old days when you were not forced to make choices that you don’t want to make.

I date men of different ethnicity besides white men but it is almost impossible to find them because I live in an area that is predominantly white. Therefore I must scroll through many many pages of white men as I hope to find different ethnicities in my feed. Usually the app refreshes and forces me to start scrolling all over again just as I'm beginning to find diverse ethnicities in my feed.

What its wrong if someone looking for same ethnicity that its not racisam

If you are going to remove features that users have come to know, love and depend on, then you should reduce prices. Like it or not, the ability to search profiles by ethnicity is/was the #1 reason guys choose to pay for Xtra/Unlimited subscriptions. Fix this, or give us back our money!

I love my white and Latino man. And I can't filter out all the others. In my neighborhood there are many of my liking to choose from. Bring it back or you'll lose me and probably more users.

I believe we should have the choice to date or connect with who we want and certainly no one should assume one wants to date within "their own race or culture." Some of us never have and have no desire to do so. If you're looking for white guys in the US, you don't need the filter at all. If you are looking for anyone else to even begin to hopefully find that match at other levels, you need the filter. For those that use it with racist intentions, removing it doesn't change who they are.

Bring the filter back as an xtra feature. So those who want it can choose to pay for the feature. Or allow for individual searches only and not a profile filter. As a person of color I liked the feature. If you want solidarity with poc, hire more poc.

We have been asking for months to restore the ethnicity filter. It is not about fear of all other races. Give us the filter we pay for.

And then you see this nice guy but ‘unfortunately’ its not what you are usually attracted to. So what. I’m guessing almost nobody goes on a blind date so you like a guy by his pictures or you don’t. Simple as that. I’m generally happy about my being mixed but, sorry to say but mainly by white guys, its always about that and i always have the feeling that there is a right and a wrong answer for each individual. I’m like hey, you liked my picture so apparently there is something. And beside whether I like you or not I don’t feel the need to talk about my family history with a complete stranger. Especially not when it is asked to ‘box or categorize’ me. So please...no more ethnicity filter!
