I just posted a comment regarding the ethnicity filter and it posted with my full name. Why aren't public comments on an app many people use anonymously, anonymous?
And if public, why not warn us? Wtf Grindr? Is anyone thinking over there? Do better!

I date multiple races but white guys dominate the app in my neighborhood. I have to scroll through pages and pages of white guys to find Latin, Black or Asian guys. And searching out a particular race in itself isn't racist. Forcing people to scroll through countless White guys when we're looking for a different type of guy is why the filter was helpful.
I date men of different ethnicity besides white men but it is almost impossible to find them because I live in an area that is predominantly white. Therefore I must scroll through many many pages of white men as I hope to find different ethnicities in my feed. Usually the app refreshes and forces me to start scrolling all over again just as I'm beginning to find diverse ethnicities in my feed.
