    I am a White man, raised in an English speaking household in the American South West. I became bilingual in Spanish through study in highschool.

    I am not attracted to white men like myself because the overwhelming majority of them are circumcised

    I myself was circumcised and being exposed to circumcised genitals reminds me of my trauma, bringing up uncomfortable emotions which take me out of the moment.

    Hispanic men in this region are circumcised at a rate ranging from 5 to 10 percent. Meaning for every 19 encounters I will meet 1 guy who I have to let down.

    With White men I encounter an intact one for every 9 I have to awkwardly reject their sexual advances, which wastes their time and mine, and through that conditioning I’m just not attracted to them anymore because I know we’re likely not sexually compatible. The same way I am not attracted to straight guys. Or women.

    Based on your definition provided I am lead to believe you would consider that racist . If so, why?

    Gay Hookup culture/ cruising FOR SEX [not professional contacts] is an integral pillar of gay culture dating back to Ancient Greece. Less than a Century ago Gay men used an entire code language, called Polari, with which they could openly solicit sex with strangers in a manner which a gay man would recognize overtly and for an uninitiated straight man the message would pass covertly. Grindr represents yet another step in This cultural evolution as a means for gay men to express their counter culture sexuality openly in a way that is invisible to the uninformed. Grindr is the industry leader, which is important in a medium where the user population itself IS the experience. I was going to say it is some late capitalist neoliberal degeneracy that you would insult gay history to the point of denying the gay legacy to claim that Grindr is, at its heart, nothing more than a Queer LinkedIn Woke Networking app... but Then I realized oh. That’s the point Grindr IS a sex app which has revolutionized dating across the Kinsey spectrum. BUT, just like in the mid 20th century it cloaks itself in an image of Respectability, a camouflage of cliche politically correct woke capitalism

    So consider yourself initiated.

    If, however, knowing the historical context You still insist that grindr is “not for sex” that would make you a literal Nazi.

    The brick and mortar cruising scene, bathhouses and public spaces have been wiped out by The advent of the gay dating app, covid-19, and the privatization of the commons. Meaning, to deny that THE Gay Hookup App IS a hookup app and should function to facilitate gay hookups is to deny Gay people the means of cultural production: and thus advocacy for the Erasure of Gay Culture, subordinating it to a commodified- sterile- lobotomized- hegemonized LGBT culture robbed of its revolutionary, subversive elements to become just another homogenous faction of the identity politic: another demographic to market products to; all of its rough edges sanded down to fit perfectly where heteronormative patriarchy wants it to.

    It’s for discreet hookups.

    No. Don’t block all URL’s. That’s doing surgery with a chainsaw.
    They simply need to filter urls which Match urls in content specifically reported as spam and confirmed by a moderator.
    When a moderator verifies phishing activity A script searches then banned profile and outgoing messages for hyperlinks,
    Those urls then added to a ban list, and then are incompatible inputs for profile and message text input.
    The same way the app won’t let us put the word COCK in our screen name.
    Grindr is retarded. Nothing they do makes sense. They only care about making their money and selling your data at the end of the day and don’t care how their app wastes your time and exposes your to cyber attacks.
    They obviously don’t care even slightly.

    But that would require basic programming ability and a paid UI designer and clearly all Grindr cares about is forcing cringey sponsored content and corny liberal politics into our inbox.
    Fuck I wouldn’t be surprised if grindr WAS gayfun.org.

    It’s like this company is being operated by an A.I. Robotic canned responses literally nothing they do is logical. The work environment must be crawling with absolutely toxic assholes, for a company with such a leg up on the competition to be failing so god damn bad.

    I do have an XTRA membership. It doesn’t change the fact that 1/5 of the Tops in my city are Trannys. And 2/5s are homophobic confused heterosexuals that proliferate patriarchal ideals as desperate gay men sacrifice their manhood in the feminization arms race in which straight men win again.
    Evolutionize your queerness somewhere else. This is some twilight zone politically correct nightmare when GAY men are expected to welcome WOMEN into a hook-up community.
    You undermine the whole validity of gender reassignment when you say “yeah but deep down she’s really just a gay man so s(HE) should be allowed to join Grindr”

    As of November 2018 Wikipedia defines Grindr as: “Grindr (/ˈɡraɪndər/) is a geosocial networking mobile app geared towards gay and ******** men, designed to help them meet other men in their area.”

    Yet every time I open the app now I see women’s faces all down the cascade. A trans Woman who chooses to live her life as a female doesn’t belong in an app for men to meet men. As a result of this saturation of Females, Straight men have started making profiles posting headlines like “not here for dudes” “Men-don’t message me” “Cd/trans/Women only”. Sure, these “str8” men probably increase Grindr’s daily active users, but at what cost? This females on display for men to hunt paradigm is creating an environment that is hostile to the spectrum of gay, ********, curious and closeted men who made this App what it is. I have respect for all trans people, and it will inevitably require much creativity to implement a BLENDR feature that enables trans females inclusivity to connect with the straight men seeking them. But Grindr is not the place. It’s a ***** killer when scrolling down the cascade to see painted nails, makeup and high heels.
    A guy can be as femme as he wants. If a Trans man hits me up, that’s great; I’m open to it.
    But having Women, cis or trans, present alters the app in a way that negates its essential formula: Men looking for Men. Which is what the App truly is. And is meant to be.
    It’s important that LGBTQ people of all backgrounds stand together as a coalition in the fight for civil rights.
    But let’s not be so stubbornly attatched that we feel the need to invite lesbians and Trans Women to the post parade ****.

    ******** is okay. Because that at least allows for the possibility of male on male. But I don’t see why a transgendered Woman living as a Female has any business on an app for guys to meet guys.
    It’s causing all kinds of straight guys to make profiles saying female/cd/trans only. Creating a hostile environment for the gay bi and closeted Men who made this app the #1 way for Guys to meet GUYS for a hookup.
    I spend all my time blocking profiles of women. And then what’s left is “str8” men who are looking for women.
