The people saying let it be inclusive need to realise we (gay men) have never been given a space for just ourselves. We are always lumped in with lesbians, bisexuals and trans. And in life that's brilliant but for a app for sex not so much. Not to mention the amount of trans on here that put "no cis men" or are absolutely horrible to cis men on here is disgusting.

Let’s all be honest here. Grindr doesn’t care about what people have to say or how they feel. This post has been up for a long time and it’s very clear that Grindr is going to allow a very small representation of the LGBTQ community to have the largest voice. In the meantime they continue to alienate and not care about gay men and seem to have forgotten that without them they wouldn’t be the app they are today. Shame on you grindr.

Would it be possible for Grindr to make a secondary app, exactly the same as Grindr, but made exclusively for dating or friendship and open to all gender? Currently Grindr is all men and trans, no cis women. And would be nice with better filtering to help find what you're looking for. I don't like other dating sites coz they're all swipe, swipe, swipe and I hate that about dating sites. Which is why I prefer Grindr.

Anyway, with a separate app, it will divide all those People looking for sex and those who aren't.

If they double the number you'll see 100 trans profiles then another 50 profiles of cis women. It's honestly a joke at this point. We are viewed in life only as the gay best friend for women while they get all the male attention. Now we can't even have a space for ourselves to get real men's attention.

I think you guys should consider making an app for trans and trans interested people. There are so many in Grindr now, surely they could support their own service with their numbers and you can advertise it here.

Klowdy I wholeheartedly disagree. The app is pretty clear on its intended use when you download it. Im not sure how "gay chat" got translated to LGBTQIA+? If ppl want straight, then they should use Tindr or the plethora of other apps out there for them.

It used to be easy by playing the block game on these profiles clogging up the screen, now Grindr created a loophole for them by back-up chats delete app off phone a d reinstall it and login and they will be unblocked by all and appear in fresh faces, urgh!!!!

Yeah and all the apps i tried suck. So why not create another well structured app but just for women?

The increasing number of profiles which are NOT of gay, bi or ‘straight’ MEN is becoming an issue for those of us who are not only seeking MEN, but paying for the privilege thru membership. Grindr’s headline is “ Gay Dating and Chat” however it is obvious that this is no longer true as it would seem Grindr is intent on being all things to all persuasions at the expense of alienating the very category it purports to cater for. There are numerous dating apps for our trans brothers and sisters, just as there are for our hetero brothers and sisters so it wouldn’t be cynical to assume that Grindr’s ever increasing ‘LGBTQI’ membership policy is more about membership fees than it is about inclusion. What’s next…polygamists, satanists, abstentionists animal lovers?

Allow woman to join obviously attract the ones into gay men or a couple section but advertising the new options will bring in revenue and to have a separate side page for the people of interest and turn Grindr into maybe the new world open gay app that is all gender acceptable which opens new doors to a new platform. Never know what new idea may be just the push for evolution. In the dating game of apps. But it's mainly gay representative along with everyone like Walmart and McDonald's collaboration stores ;) I'll love to hear back on anyone willing to let me work on the clock with the CEO I'm very much a fun guy and I'm straight but I only bi sex when I have the mood and this is my main idea when I think of the app in any form of what I would do. yeah, no offense intended but.. ..as a non-paying member of grindR i REALLY don't need my already extremely-limited grid clogged up with people whom i am categorically not attracted to.
