It is beyond stupid that Grindr still has not made this happen. Also WTF are the tags for if we can't search using that criteria? I sent in a support request asking about this and the answer was less than satisfactory. They acted like it's totally normal to have features in a profile that can't be searched. I PAY for this app so I expect better quality. Otherwise, why bother anymore?

This is exactly what I want

I want their to be a function where you can search for someone’s title or hashtags across the world or your area. So if someone has “sub” or “Dom” in their profile title then you could search for that.

This isn't really that great of an idea because it only furthers people not reading the **** profile in the first place.

Add a search bar to search for anything from keywords to complete bio within user profiles

Not necessarily for a profile name but to see matching profiles of those who like "exhibition or chub or jock" so much so that they singled it out in their profiles
