Replace 'Fresh Faces' with a profile matching algorithm
Show us profiles we would most likely be interested in, based on chat metric data like what ages, ethnicities, heights, weights, body types, positions, tribes, etc., that we chat with the most.

Please get rid of the fresh faces. It doesnt help and seems to actually decrease individual profile activity.

Post the photo in question, have it approved, remove it from your profile, keep it in your saved profile photos for at least 12 hours and put it back in your profile. Only that way you will not get between the fresh faces.

Love to have actual ppl inbox us that is in our search criteria!!! We have slowed down the extra pms by putting what we are searching for in the bio header which isn’t a lot of key characters!!!

Agree, has to contain the ethnicity filter too, bring back the ethnicity filter, we need it to narrow down the result set, this is a dating application not facebook.

Not being able to see them in the main grid is really frustrating.

I don't think people should be judged by what kind of age/height/weight people they message with. I get hundreds of people over 50 messaging me and I am a polite person and reply telling them that I'm not interested. That doesn't mean I'm primarily into senior citizens because I actually reply to them or answer their questions. This would be a big privacy concern and discourage people from replying to people.

Why not just say ***** Grindr and use Scruff? It has these features already built in

The problem is that we need to stimulate the community to step out of their comfort zone and beyond what they are "into". Such might not be in line with the anti-discrimination policy.

Being able to search/filter by user preferences would be great. We can search for our preferences but that doesn't mean the other person is into my type. We should be able to search for what they are into.

Today I discovered that 9/15 profiles being promoted in the “fresh faces” banner area are photoless profiles. Now that you have a search filter for face pics, this filter should automatically be applied to fresh faces. Otherwise it’s really just a new/updated profiles banner.
At the very least, as an unlimited subscriber, if my Face pic only filter is turned on, that setting should apply to fresh faces too.
But really, if you call it “fresh faces” you should enforce a strict face pic rule on the featured profiles. If users really want to be featured, they should have to show their face. Or at a bare minimum, at least have a profile pic.

Yes! Search according to your preferences (tribe, position, etc.) and the other persons preferences, facilitating more matches.

Very good idea. The app should really be doing a lot more matchmaking work. That is to say, any at all.

Insight as to the stats the other person is interested in, based on AI metrics of who they message or tap. Add filter of whose preferred stats you match with mutually.

I think something like this would be better as an "opt-in" system where users can add their own preferences if they want to, rather than automated sleuthing.
