An error occurred while saving the comment Joe commentedI like this idea per se, but unfortunately, Grindr has become the wrong place for that. This cannot really be done with the 255 char limit on the profile.

An error occurred while saving the comment Joe commentedEquivalent to solicitation and consumption of prostitution. That cannot be a "feature" of the app. If people wish to sell or buy this service, let it be "coded" in your profile description. This is encouraging bad behavior. Taking shortcuts through an app instead of doing your due diligence to get a job like everyone else. I KNOW guys who only want to take the easy life by leeching through daddies, and ALSO to steal from tricks who host them.
There are other sites for this. We come to Grindr to stay away from that. Let's not mix the two.
Bad idea. There should be a downvote button.

An error occurred while saving the comment Joe commentedThere are 2 other chains about this. One of them is https://grindr.uservoice.com/forums/912631-grindr-feature-requests/suggestions/34529569-validation-of-profiles
How come Grindr hasn't even started to look at these considering how important we all think it is?

Might wanna merge these two.
An error occurred while saving the comment Joe commentedI agree with this. I think the block list is finite. And prevention is better than cure. Preventing faceless guys from messaging guys who don't like that would be a big relief.
That said, it will block out those guys who do send a picture in their initial communication. This idea has pros and cons.
An error occurred while saving the comment Joe commentedI'm getting escorts with fake profiles sending me their website and phone numbers almost on a daily basis. How is this being allowed? What happened to the "No Solicitation" and "No Impersonation" rules? I've reported at least 30 such profiles, but their number has actually increased!!! Amazing that this is happening on Grindr but not on any other dating app. They make such a fuss about "No Nudity" in pictures, but they cast a blind eye to this. How can we force them to give such spam more attention?
Good idea
