Badge and Filter for Visitors
When we're traveling away from our home city, an icon like a small plane should appear in our profile thumbnail that indicates we're a visitor. (Members should also be able to manually mark themselves as a Visitor—especially if they don't have their home city specified for Grindr to mark them automatically.) To reduce any privacy/security concerns, users can disable the automatic indicator if they choose.
We should also be able to filter for Visitors. It would increase connections x1000 and help us find better matches depending on whatever we're looking for at the moment.

In XTRA we should have the function to contact visitors. For XTRA are the last three ok.
Currently we don't have this possibility. Also no reason to pay.

That sounds pretty cool but more than that I would rather be able to put in a city and search for people in that area or by state.

Location, COUNTRY, CITY and NEIGHBORHOOD, have to be a mandatory on every profile, and Grindr should show the distance between the locations

If you're visiting somewhere, you have to waste your headline or profile space to say so. It could just be an icon that appears on the thumbnail and profile (like an airplane or a globe.) Toggle it off or on in your profile editing screen.

Knowing if someone is local and you’re likely to see again or just visiting for a short time, and having the ability to filter as a function of this status, would be tremendously useful. Other apps partly support this feature and I’ve akways been surprised not to see it in Grindr.

Have a Filter for Visitors in Your Area, so you can easily find who’s visiting your area. You could also mark yourself as a visitor when you are visiting an area, so that Grindr guys can find you through the Visitor filter.

Many people only care to chat with locals of the city they live in or with visitors in the city they're visiting. Hence many people put "Visiting" as their profile name. It would be great if in our profile we could list the city we live in, so when we're visiting a new city everyone will know we're a visitor.
And give us a filter for visitors please. People can use it depending on the relationship they'd like to build with folks they chat with. Visitors are usually preferred for shorter-term connections and locals are typically best for longer-term connections.
