Add Polyamorous to relationship status. It’s more than just “Open Relationship” or “Partnered”

The Idea of hooking up sounds fun atm. But if someone was looking for a meaningful relationship paying all that money would turn me away. And if one was to look at paying a shit tone of money all the time what's stopping them from things like Craigslist and getting paid themselves. That's prostitution
The relationship status selection only allows to select married or open relationship. When I choose married, I get users calling me a cheater and other insults of sort. When I select open relationship, I get accused by users of lying because of my wedding band.
Therefore, openly married option would really make a difference.
I feel Relationship Status should be Basic Feature. There are sometimes what feels like 80% Open Relationships/Poly (do you, no offense) every time I am trying to just converse with someone. Why do we have to pay premiums just to find someone available and single to converse to (and even then the truth may be far from). Would be great to have that as a Basic. There’s a constant weeding out of people on the App.

This should really be an option.

Some of us don’t want to meet up with open relationship or married profiles
Its a big and small world which we live in, though when it comes to seeking other men like us who are sexually attracted to other men it can be very challenging knowing who's who... Though upon discovering an app that we assume from the start is an app for just that but then to discover that it (was) for just that, is very sad! And its even more sad that people of the transgender community have to undergo such whiplash due to an unorganized installment... Its out of hand! There should be a different app for different people... Its not thier fault it's the apps fault... And as to married men doing what they can to sugarcoat thier relationships with terms such as, open relationship/couples... They just need to get their priorities straight... That goes for straight, gay and bi partnered men! (This effects the gay community making it dishonest and more challenging for those seeking strictly other single gay men.) Please make a difference for the Gay community and put a stop to faceless profiles. Thanks in advance!

Just wanted to find a way to thank you people at Grindr for giving me a forum to meet the love of my life. My fiancé and I met on Grindr about 6 years ago and are getting married on 06/24/2022.
Your app allowed us to cross paths, build a connection, grow apart, reunite, and finally discover our mutual unconditional love for one another.
Thank you all again.

Did you know that 92% of open relationships/marriages end or are divorced? This app may be for hooking up, but some guys wanna date. Or just don’t want the hassle of a third wheel. It’s bad enough having to understand how, and why, so many gay men are either married or in a relationship but it’s obviously not enough for them.
Why not have a separate section for OPEN RELATIONSHIPS/OPEN MARRIAGES?
Let them all meet each other and cheat on each other. If single guys want to be a part of that then it should be their choice to go looking for that. But to have so many unfaithful men always looking for more perpetuates the myth that gay men are promiscuous. If you don’t care about that, fine! Just create a section for them.
Please add "separated" under relationship options. It is a relevant and viable option for relationship status in most similar apps. Without this option one is inclined to record a falshood as either "single" (when one is still married/civil union) or partnered (which one isn't when one is separated/estranged), or make a false claim at an "open relationship". Please Grinder tech do us a solid help make honest men of us 😏😉.

Is it possible that status also includes the option Widower? Being married and losing your partner is a very different feeling than being single. And with that you indicate that you have a certain past and way of life. With so many choices not to exclude anyone regarding orientation, that would also be nice for people who have lost their partner. I look forward to your respons.

This is the most frustrating thing for single people who want to use Grindr to find a partner. Most people use it for hook ups, and filtering among people in open relationships or outright cheating on their partner is a real odyssey. I often use other apps like GayRomeo that allow such filters to be free for all users. Grindr is convenient because a lot more people use it, otherwise I wouldn't use it at all.

Please can you add a filter specifically aimed at finding a relationship
Needs to be improved
Please add this feature
Wow. Even on a gay app i don't fit in. Can you please add widowed to your relationship status options. Thanks.
Currently there is not a polyamorous relationship status. While open relationship is available this is very different from polyamorous relationships. Open relationships are about being committed to loving your current partner but having casual connections outside the relationship. Polyamorous relationships do not function this way as there is not a limitation to love connections or sexual connections in the relationship.
Please add Polyamorous to the available relationship statuses. It's quite different than "open relationship" and those of us who are in poly relationships really have no suitable option in the drop down list as none of the ones you offer accurately include the polyamorous lifestyle.
