I keep sending messages and they keep saying "message not sent" ... Please fix it. Pls??!?

This has been going on for months and seems to be getting worse everyday. I have the exact same issues with not knowing if the recipient actually received my message and if they replied and I didn't get their message. This is nuts

Fix the problem with messages' delivery status and read receipts. When I send a message, it stays as "Sent." The recipient remains online for quite some time, but my message remains "Sent" and not "Delivered."
NOTE: I am not referring to the "message not sent" issue, although that is a very annoying problem too. I am talking about when we see that a message was Sent, then Delivered, then Read. Messages remains Sent but not Delivered, even when the recipient is online or shows as being back online after being offline for a while. This is constantly happening and very frustrating. It always seems to happen I'm chatting with a guy who I'm close to meeting too. This bug actually keeps us from meeting!
And stop telling us that you're aware of the issue and that we can see it resolved in upcoming updates. This has been going on all year! Fix it! Grindr is preventing us even paying members from communicating and meeting!

Fix messaging, most messages stay as sent or don't go anywhere, make read/seen stamps a universal feature

Sexually frustrated I'm sick and tired of the Grindr app problems I just want to get some **** I used to hook up with at least 20 guys every week and now I can't even suck any ****!

You guys are the worst scum ever. All this paid memberships and you are not even able to fix these bugs? People are blocking eachother because the app makes you look like a rude person

Ive run into this problem twice now in the last month, led to the first guy blocking me cause it happened right while we were planning to meet up on the message where I was suggesting a day. So I sent a follow up message later that evening being like "hey I think the app is buggin out wanna meet up on monday?" and then again the next morning with the same thing, never delivered. Later that day he blocks me and idk if its because he thought I was ghosting him, or if he got all my undelivered messages at once and thought I was crazy, but I'll never know cause of this stupid issue.

I send a message and when I send it it goes to them but goes in a faded yellow and sits there then it trims out in a red box around the message saying not delivered.

the bug is severe that make us lose contact...please fix it asap

This is a serious communication problem. Many people are not aware of this and believe that the other person has a bad behavior towards the other.
You make people believe that there is something wrong with them.
You are changing the way people from a minority makes connections each other into something worse. You do not help at all!

So if bots are the issue like one person suggested, why doesn't this happen on Scruff?

l just started using this app today. No way will I continue to use it if I have to click 'retry' 20 times over the course of 10 minutes just to send a message that won't go through. Looks like it's back to Scruff.

Why isn't Grindr fixing the "delivered" problem. I'm talking to someone and then the next message remains at "sent" and not "delivered" so the conversation ends. This happens so much! Why isn't Grindr fixing this issue!?!?!
