Fix the problem with messages' delivery status and read receipts. When I send a message, it stays as "Sent." The recipient remains online for quite some time, but my message remains "Sent" and not "Delivered."
NOTE: I am not referring to the "message not sent" issue, although that is a very annoying problem too. I am talking about when we see that a message was Sent, then Delivered, then Read. Messages remains Sent but not Delivered, even when the recipient is online or shows as being back online after being offline for a while. This is constantly happening and very frustrating. It always seems to happen I'm chatting with a guy who I'm close to meeting too. This bug actually keeps us from meeting!
And stop telling us that you're aware of the issue and that we can see it resolved in upcoming updates. This has been going on all year! Fix it! Grindr is preventing us even paying members from communicating and meeting! -

Taps are annoying to begin with when the users don't send a message with it. What's even more annoying are the BOTS that are constantly tapping me.

I agree. Majority of taps are fakes and a waste of everyone's time. Give us the option to disable taps or get rid of that feature all together.
This has been going on for months and seems to be getting worse everyday. I have the exact same issues with not knowing if the recipient actually received my message and if they replied and I didn't get their message. This is nuts
