“Looking Now” and “Hosting Now” icons
It would be helpful to have a simple toggle that can be turned on or off if you're actively looking for “right now,” as well as an icon like a little house that indicates you can host and a walking character icon if you cannot. Turning the feature “on” could either highlight your profile in the cascade or add a symbol like a flame next to your display name.
(Some profiles say they are “Looking For: Right Now” in their profile but may not actually mean it, so this would help with that.)
Allow us to hide profile that have "right now" selected. When I filter by "relationship", I noticed an abundence of people that have decided to include relationship in their profile used explicitly for no string attached encounters. Almost all these profiles share a theme, "right now".
Please ADD the Feature

Hi I couldn’t find my account
I love this idea. I know i have my "right now" selected on my profile but I never remember to change it when I just randomly open the app when I'm at work or something
Please add a Looking For Right Now feature so guys can see who's Looking For Right Now versus who's online! A lot of potential connections are being ruined as a direct result of this missing feature. Members looking for right now waste valuable time courting members that aren't often times resulting with members that would have connected deleting or blocking each other. Not having this feature available causes a lot of unnecessary frustration and negative experiences for members on both sides. Please make a Looking For Right Now feature available to all members as soon as possible.
I want to chat with guys who actually want to meet up right now. The 'Right Now' status really just means 'Guess if I'm horny and if I am, which is not guaranteed at all, then... Maybe'.
Make 'Right Now' an expiring status (say 30 min) triggered by an action button that users can turn on when they are actually looking for right now.
Don't over engineer this with cron jobs and caching layers; have the client do the work.
1. Add a right-now-UTC-timestamp to the user obj that gets reset by the action button.
2. Have the client add/remove the existing Right Now status based on the timestamp.
This is a shiny new feature that users would love with super low effort. Tiny epic. Add it to your next sprint. Please and thank you.
A 1 Hour "ready to meet Now" feature.
With a :
Location: My Place, Your Place, Outside place
Looking for: 1-on-1, Threesome, Group
Could be for a Xtra or unlimited membership.
Offer an easy to toggle setting that indicates that the user is looking and available. The "Looking For: Right Now" category in the profile is used to signal that a user is generally willing to hook up, but that may change under whatever specific circumstances, so it can get tedious to shift through profiles and see who is actually looking right then. So, a "Looking Now" flag would cut down on unwanted messages on two fronts: people don't have to send endless "Looking?" messages, and people don't have to field endless "Looking?" messages.
There should be a filter to search for people who are ready to hook up right away or in the next few hours/minutes.
Why dont you add an icon that indicates if the person cam host, a little house for example and if the person cannot a walking character
It would be great knowing why other users are online. "looking for now" "looking for later" "looking for love" "not looking now"
Ability to sort profiles for people looking for fun now
100% agree this is totally needed. Having the “Right Now” in the looking for section on your main profile isn’t a true reflection of if your are looking for a hook up right that second.

Yes an option that will put a little emoji sign by the person pic to see who is looking who is chating not looking. Then you can filter people out based on preferences

Very much this!
That definitely could reduce the number of unwanted **** pics
Please consider adding a “HOSTING” Icon that would be bisable on the Members photo while browsing. The members could activate the I on in Grindr Xtra
It would be helpful to simply have a toggle feature that either highlights the profile or ads a symbol when you are looking to mess around.

It would be cool if you could have a green, yellow, or red icon on your profile to identify if you can host at the time or not. Green meaning you can host, yellow meaning you can host but have to be very quiet or discreet, and red meaning that you can’t host.
Create status "Looking for later" - Makes the difference between "right now" (now means now) and "looking for later" (means later today or in next few days)
