I seemed to have been banned for putting "no drugs" in my profile. LOL.,. talk about ignorant but of course, they want say WHY they ban you.

Users should have to send a face photo to grindr which will only be seen/held by grindr mods to see of they match up with the profile pics they put up. Users who have done this could get a blue tick to show they are photo verified even if you don't do it for everyone being able to see the blue tick on the profiles of those who opt in means I can filter out the potential fakes. You could even have an option to allow users to temporarily show their verification photo to another user so we know it's genuine. This could even work for those with blank profiles as despite not having a display picture they could still have been photo verified and have option of temporarily sharing the verification photo with other users. Grindr would need to ensure that this photo could not be uploaded from camera roll and had to be taken live at the time of verification.

I like the feature on scruff where you can just unlock your pictures. Instead of going in selecting five pictures at a time we could send albums or unlock pictures.

I completely agree and came here for the same thing. My last photo in my underwear is fine, but my fully clothed photo with no suggestive outlines got banned? I took at least seven or eight screenshots from the grid of photos that were, in my opinion, heavily suggestive. Being a long time subscriber to Grindr Unlimited, I am frustrated that I cannot enjoy or interact in the app based on the harder judgement of my photos. I may just have to say goodbye to Grindr and find another solution.

Blocking a profile should be by device ID rather than by account email address, because abusive people just create a new account when you block them.

It would be interesting to see the support teams actually dealing with the massive amount of people that openly advertise prostitution and drugs on here. It’s pathetic that many of my friends have been banned, without contact or reason as to why, for a perfectly normal profile while someone else can openly message me for money or to use drugs with them. It’s disgusting, and this team has a lot of cleaning and reevaluating of this app to do. It’s quite shameful really and makes this community look exactly how most of society still sees us...

I was banned and they are so ******* rude, ive been using this app for years. The amount of professional *** workers, drug addicts and under age users you would think they would let a black tranny live but nope. I get banned for not responding to guys I’m not interested in. If they don’t lift this ban on my account I will definitely be starting a campaign against Grindr. Black trans matter, it’s so important to be visible everyday yet my own community is trying to hide and silence me.

You should notify us when a user has been blocked due to disagreements to Grindr terms and conditions. We never know if he has been banned if we block and many times grindr doesn't take into consideration our report: drug dealing, prostitution etc

Make people register with a phone number, period. If a profile gets banned, don't allow the same phone number to be used again. Solves the issue with spammers, drug dealers, and pretty much all people recreating countless profiles to work around bans or blocks.
