Be able to send videos from the camera roll like When you upload a photo to send it!

I'm having serious problems with sending and receiving messages and I am a unlimited user

People who get harassed, threatened, after they report this behaviour, they don’t only get ignored and not helped at all, they also get banned device banned.
You try to plead for your ban and the only thing the support team does is giving you a tap in the back and telling you good bye.

First of all, a better report review team, second of all if someone believes they account has been banned by mistake HEAR THEM and allow them prove they were banned by mistake if they show evidence.
They keep saying they care about us and want our safety but then when you report the toxic behaviour, you get banned.

To me happened the same thing as the person below my comment. They banned me saying that I breached the community guidelines, when I didn’t. Tried to create another account which got banned directly and they kept telling me they reported that account which doesn’t make sense. And kept sending me this copy paste message saying: YOUR BAN WONT BE LIFTED. Or Grindr can remove your account wether they have a reason or not :). Good bye.

Such a nice support team wow 😍😍. Funny thing is that my friend got his account banned too because he logged into the Grindr of my phone once. So his iphone got banned at the same time than mine. He got the same answers from the support team that I got

Grindr needs to get this problem under control. No one cares about some discreet guys wife or whatever he has on the side. Please verify all accounts before they can be made. Other apps verify and that stops multiple problems: solicitation, under age users, bots, etc.

I agree. However, adult photos aren't supposed to be anywhere on the app at all given that Grindr is listed as a 17+ app on the Google play store. This is explicit in Google's terms of services agreement. Grindr could be removed from the play store over this issue.

I agree that Grindr needs to do more in terms of harm reduction / harm prevention strategy.

A HUGE safety issue. That Grindr aren't doing ANYTHING to make genuine users safe. Even reported Grindr to loca authorities due to their lack of safety features to protect people from FAKE ACCOUNTS and from people using pictures who AREN'T them.

If other apps can do phone verification or some kind of verification, so can Grindr. Having a phone verification would be good, so if they get found out using pictures who aren't them, this will make them thing twice

I happen to advise many 18+ kids who are just recently discovering their sexuality. As many of us! They are lost in the whole prevention, Safe ***, drugs, and many other Problems that we encounter in Grindr.
Maybe create an icon, and Each use who is willing to answer questions to the younger crow, without filter.
People who are honest and willing to educate many of the younger crow to play safe, Talk about drugs and their signs that are posted on Grindr and to advise them without filter. Something that many of the questions they can’t ask their parents or are afraid to.
I have advise many of them, in I feel comfortable, and also advise them to seek a doctor help for better information. And I got a positive outcome and many thanks for what I’ve done.
An idea to prevent, help, educate, and do better with our younger Grindr crow! Let’s be honest! Grindr is full of everything...... and sometimes one has questions.....and if any user is willing to answer those, put an icon In their profile, so when someone who is new to the scene know where to go for answers.

I bought a used phone and downloaded my stuff that I wanted on to it I had just made an email specifically for this phone and I used it to sign up with Grindr upon finishing up my account I was instantly blocked I tried to contact the help support and the legal support as well and neither were of any help giving me the same automated messages each time it’s frustrating because I know the account is viable it’s the device itself and I have been unable to resolve the issue it’s pure ********

The problem and the million dollar question with this feature is how do we implement it without allowing for the transmission of illegal content. The real problem is that this feature could be used to illegally transmit child pornography.
