Device banning should be a thing.

Why are Gridnr doing anything about this.

Needs to be passed on to authorities as this is a huge issue.

Why Gridnr aren't doing this already I don't know. When most other dating apps have this already implemented.

Will you be placing a stronger verification system in place for every user, such as a phone verification. As anyone at any age can upload content or personal information of others without consent and without having to worry about any verification processes other than a email sign up. I have passed this concern onto the relevant department with the evidence.

A HUGE safety issue. That Grindr aren't doing ANYTHING to make genuine users safe. Even reported Grindr to loca authorities due to their lack of safety features to protect people from FAKE ACCOUNTS and from people using pictures who AREN'T them.
Needs to be acted on as soon as possible. Again had a profile used pretending to be me.
    Sick of this.
    UK based.
If other apps can do phone verification or some kind of verification, so can Grindr. Having a phone verification would be good, so if they get found out using pictures who aren't them, this will make them thing twice

People who like this terrible idea are just using this app to impersonation of others and disturbing behaviour in which they don't want to get tracked back. Unfortunately, every message or image you post or send automatically gets traced on the device when app is installed.

Brilliant idea. Full of fake accounts of people pretending to be others.
