My idea is to allow explicit photos in one's profile privately.

Either you should set up an algorithm that will prevent things like malelocal.com and other pay sites from being in the profile text or allow us the option to report the text of a profile. They have now started putting it in the text then tapping someone but no conversation to report.

Grindr is just a **** app and customer service is pathetic. Don't pay for any of it. You can pay for the premium service and they ban you the next day, stealing your money

I woke up and opened it then without a reason I got banned, and the funny thing is that it seems like they'll ban any device that have logged in that banned account in the past. I have an iPhone and Android, android got banned and I opened Grindr on iPhone to create an account then showed me banned. Well done this company, finding ways to cast away customers instead of attracting customers. Waiting to hear news that Grindr gets boycott.

I was banned for doing nothing wrong. My profile was blank as I was being harassed by someone who had claimed to have video of me having fun with someone outdoors and was going to post it onto tumblr if I did not send them pictures of me, they knew all my details, name etc. where I lived. Then I obviously was reported and banned. This is disgusting when I have done nothing wrong. No explanation or proof. Just banned and now I am unable to meet guys because of this and living in a small and closeted area.. shameful

It's all allowed to the extent it is by Grindr because more profiles and higher numbers of app downloads generate more "users", even if they are fakes, scammers, or escorts. When all those numbers increase, Grindr's revenue proportionately grows.
I will choose to continue being diligent with my messaging and dialogue and taking what measures I can to recognize, block, and report them. Grindr is not solely responsible for preventing me from being grifted. I'm a big boy on this app doing big boy things.
So everyone.... put your big boy pants on and don't be so quick to leap to cross verifying across social media accounts. Be wise folks!

Grindr horrendous customer service and arbitrary banning policies are driving their customers to competition like Romeo, Hornet, Scruff and Jack'd. I know guys who have only been using Grindr and nothing else who have never touched any of those other apps, but when banned from Grindr they quickly downloaded these other platforms and are happily using them without being abused by the developers or customer care representatives. I have never been banned from Scruff or Romeo, but they did ban me several times from Grindr for no reason and their shytty customer service were unwilling to tell me why and show any proof in the form of screenshots of my breaching of their cockamamie guidelines. They do not refund your yearly subscription either when they ban your account!!! I have purchased the year subscription and have been subscribed for only 2 months when the ban came out of nowhere, and I've been told that they do not have to disclose the reason for banning my account, that I have simply breached the guidelines, and that they do not refund any subscriptions. The first time this happened I threatened to take legal action against them and after few months they finally lifted the ban still unable to provide proof of my breach which I was demanding over and over again in numerous email exchanges with their arrogant and hostile customer service representatives. Nevertheless a several months of my subscription was wasted during the ban!!! What a rip off!!! For the second time I remained banned and I am banned to this day. Again no reason given!!! Absolutely horrendous arogance with which they treat their customers! Time for a law suit action, indeed. What an abhorrent company!!! They lure you to buy subscription and then ban you without having to provide the services you paid for. What a neat scam on their part!!! I felt ripped off and scammed! Grindr is nothing but a bunch of nasty scammers and dirty thieves!!!

Grindr is toxic trash! The admins and mods are hypocritical shallow pieces of **** abusing their positions to literally harass and bully users they simply don’t like. I was blocked because a salty **** who didn’t likE being rejected reported me and they refused to even provide evidence of what T&C thing I broke. Class action against them and someone needs to make a service to compete with them with fair prices greater usage and admins who stick to strict rules not we can block simply because we want too.

Also, these young gay boys have told me that they like to have *** and relationships with older boys and young men, because the boy's their own age cannot perform, and are too immature and lack money, cars and motorcycles to take them places and to do things together.
