The amount of spam is absolutely ridiculous! I am paying the maximum for this service and there is at least one spam message per day. Can't you build spam filters? It's always the same pictures and texts.

If you are in the UK there is a Company Datarep who deals with any data enquiries in the UK for Grindr Google them and drop them an email as they are getting fed up with Grindr breaking Data Protection Laws in the UK

Get with 2020 already Grindr. I vowed not to renew my subscription until this feature is implemented. Or at the very least copy what Tinder did and have the option to be verified with a blue checkmark. Therefore some people can still be unverified if they wish but at least the vast majority will know they’re likely fake. This feature is long overdue.

This should be grindr’s top priority. It should be embarassing to the developers that this hasn’t come out yet.

Yes, I'm in Bogotá as well and literally, there's areas in which 8 out of ten profiles are scorts or dealers, this isn't a dating or *** meeting app anymore, it's turning into a *** version or amazon.
Not to mention that the app is sponsoring the platform to sell serious drugs and promote prostitution without regulation -

I just contacted Google Data protection office at: data-protection-office@google.com
I think we all should.
Grindr used my IMEI without my consent, to ban my device from the app.
These kinds of actions go against European Data Protection Law and should be against your Policies as well. Also has an impact on the value of my phone, since I can not resell as "perfect working conditions".
Google should take action on this matter, otherwise, should be responsible not only for the data breach but also for the economical damage.
Looking forwards to see the actions Google takes on this matter.

THIS IS ILEGAL. They can not access your personal information without your consent. Accessing an IMEI is personal, so this violates GooglePlay politics, not to mention Data Protection Laws.
I have already reported it to GooglePlay, we should all do that.
Grindr SUCKS, it was great while it lasted, but it seems their time has come and gone.
See ya.

Can you add a feature where we can get the verified and trusted profile. It will help us to be aware of spam and miss using users

I was paying a freaking $40 a month. I complained to Grindr about these "maleLocal.com" bots tapping me or messaging me. They encouraged me to report them. I reported about 5 and suddenly, I can no longer report anyone, just block the profile. I started noticing, REAL profiles of guys around me that I had blocked are popping up again. They're not bots or fake, because the owner of the profile asks me why I blocked them. I learned that Grindr has a limit set to how many you can block, even paying members before it starts unblocking one for each you block. Reason: the app has to read your block list before it can load the grid, which can make it slow to respond. To prevent that, it sets a limit of blocked profiles on your account. I've complained enough to Grindr. They no longer respond. I canceled the service. I know it's of no foul to them as the ads and tricks are covering for the loss. Sad.

This app is too expensive for the unlimited package to have the nuisance off all the adbots & fake profiles. Please fix this

It’s ridiculous how many profiles they create. This needs to be rectified ASAP. I personally wouldn’t upgrade Grindr just to be aggravated all day by these people. Give me admin rights, I can get rid of them
