I was paying a freaking $40 a month. I complained to Grindr about these "maleLocal.com" bots tapping me or messaging me. They encouraged me to report them. I reported about 5 and suddenly, I can no longer report anyone, just block the profile. I started noticing, REAL profiles of guys around me that I had blocked are popping up again. They're not bots or fake, because the owner of the profile asks me why I blocked them. I learned that Grindr has a limit set to how many you can block, even paying members before it starts unblocking one for each you block. Reason: the app has to read your block list before it can load the grid, which can make it slow to respond. To prevent that, it sets a limit of blocked profiles on your account. I've complained enough to Grindr. They no longer respond. I canceled the service. I know it's of no foul to them as the ads and tricks are covering for the loss. Sad.
