I got banned from grindr and I strongly feel that it was wrong because I did not do anything to deserve that. I am big when it comes to the lgbt community.

There is more than enough sampling data of fake profiles on grindr. Artificial intelligence would be a great way to ban fake sugar daddies, and accounts created by websites that are self promoting. This could work for example by letting the AI read through their description and look for certain key words (all fake sugar daddies have similar profile descriptions). Fake profiles are not only a waste of time, but believe it or not, some people who are new to grindr actually fall for their tricks. This is something that could be done to protect grindr's users from potential fraud.

Grindr lies. It bans devices and then you simply can not use Grindr ever again. Warn us prior to ban or tell us what we infringed!!! We are not children, even a child gets told the reason.

Hopefully they block everyone and they die a slow painful death and everyone goes to hornet

As someone who has had scary situations with grindr people in the local area this is dumb. I block and block and they still find me. I have no problem sending face pics once I can establish that the person isn’t a threat so this is just dumb.

Grindr is such a mess! So many fake profiles, scams, advertising and crap....they blocked me because I am a CD-Crossdresser. I treat everyone and everything with respect, but Grindr policies are so selfish and measurable....

I used to think guys were just making new profiles and so that is why they reappear, but I have friends that I have blocked and they reappear after a week or so and I know these guys are not making new profiles every week. Something else is going on.

Bring back expired photos and offer more than 3 for non paying members. Also, if someone sets a filter for whatever reason be it age race weight looking for whatever, don’t let others see that profile if they don’t fit into that filter. Tired of setting filters that only work for me to see specific guys, yet everyone I DON’T want to talk to still reach out to me and I have to waste blocks when they shouldn’t get to see me. That’s dumb af.

You can block someones profile but if they make a new profile you will see them
