There are literally 4 people with a photo on their profile out of the entire selection of guys in my area, and I think 2 if them are bots. What's the point!? Require at least a verified profile photo.

I get like five of these a day how can we configure grindr so remote profiles can't see us. Also grindr could easily search for accounts that are sending the exact same verbiage in a certain time frame them auto cancel those accounts

better way to verify a user. Include video call and/or verified user button

You are more expensive than scruff and they offer more and none of the scams and taps. 39.99 is absurd. It should be the same as before and option to turn off taps and do something about the scammers.

Instead of banning accounts without any heads up why not make it to where folks can actually have time to fix and edit their profiles to prevent getting ban. It is not fair to the customer to be permanently ban because of one mistake that can be easily fixed.

Definitely verify by photograph holding a unique code. Get rid of the fakes and time wasters!

This needs to be addressed more than the top voted item of who viewed your profile.
Apps like Hinge you have to send a photo of yourself, other apps like mister BnB requires verification on passports and or driving licences.
I am not saying that Grindr to go this deep, but to have accounts symbol to state they are verified. Maybe the Xtra accounts need to show a symbol as in some respects you have been verified by payment.
There are too many younger (-18) users which send images which are classed as indecent images. This needs to stop. The reporting tools need to have better tools to block accounts sooner on reports.
More needs to be done.

You need Mindr's. Like Samaritans or Diversity Role models...something like a moderator who can access a bunch of help via their Mindr app. Sort of like 111...Not qualified nurses but people who can go down a list of options eliminating them till they get to a solution. I have actually been at a party and been scared as someone may have put g in my drink or if someone gets given too much. Grindr is the only common denominator at these chill outs or after parties. I have been raped before because I was too scared to call authorities because there was drug use at the party
...So when I thought I had been deliberately overdosed...you feel scared or ashamed to talk about it somehow. Before you know it you're waking up with someone having *** with you ie. "The ok ****" because they say "Oh it's ok cos we were having *** before you passed out" 😒. If there were little lit up green boxes or something that indicates someone who can advise you. It could prevent crimes and help people in danger. I mean you could even have a system where it's like traffic light colours...So green could be like that app that works on also rythems and gets to know you (replika) so basically a grindr bot that has access to a bunch of info that can really just br easy to talk to and would be anonymous so people don't have to worry about whos behind the screen as it's not a human.
Amber coukd be actual volunteers who can help with ****** health and safety issues and report crimes on their behalf. This could have a link with the met and Samaritans helpline.
Red could actually be health professionals like doctors, nurses, police officers, personal trainers, therapists, security staff, councilors and coaches that can offer advice if someone has OD'd or how to guve cpr or what to do if a crime is happening at your party but you are afraid to contact authorities in case it implicates you. I don't know if you have the staff or could afford to pay the staff but at the very least you could try and get volunteers to do this. Mindr's are what you as a company need because you have a responsibility to push the envelope further when it comes to our safety because right now all you have is a fact sheet on your website! Lol. I HOPE this is taken into serious consideration. Thanks Grindr! -

Self deleting photos that disappear after they’re viewed, unless you select the option to have the photo stay permanently in the message. Far too many times have pic collectors and fake profiles stolen pictures from people who are trying to keep discreet. Other than that, please weed out fake users.

Well figuring out how to give an employed person in each city the ability to permanantly delete and expell all drug dealers and prostitutes from grindr. I think id be great for that position!

200% agree. If you check the phone number you'll prevent banned users from creating a new account instantly.
The experience in Grindr is getting worst everyday.
This must be PRIORITY

Not needed. There is no way of verifying anyone nowadays and many need discretion and who want to confirm their identity anyway given that the other person could be a scammer.
It's up to the individual regarding photos, I ask the other person to send me a "proof" photo in a particular pose like holding a cup or touching an ear even if they have one on their profile.

I totally agree with this 150%. Between the fakes and the bots, I am ready to call it quits. It's not only about making money. If users get sick of these things your app will be useless. I think steps need to be taken and quickly to get the number of fakes and bots down if not eliminated. Thanks.

I have received several spam messages over the past few days. It's annoying as ****. I have reported each profile as spam (and allowed for chat to be attached), but nobody is doing anyting about it! The profiles that spammed me are still active. These fake profiles send a regular-looking message with a link to a scam pornpage. I've received several such messages in Czech and one in Italian for some reason. Why do I bother reporting them when you don't do anything about it? Grindr is becoming unusable.

It happened already too manny times to speak with fake people that they just pretend to be someone else in order to get naked pictures or because they want to revenge because you are not interested in them they steal your pictures from
Your instagram or profile and later they scam other guys under your identity. You should solve this problem with priority!
I am suggesting to give us the option to have verified accounts therefore you can ask for a picture of Id and also the selfie with the user holding the Id in order to verify identity...
This can be a new feature of your app and we can choose if we want yo be verified or not therefore we can choose to
Speak with verified people or not.
This issue is sooo soo but soo frustrating, everytime i am considering my options, you should yourselves put in our shoes... after all it’s a dating app and we ask for good service or are you more focused on sales ? Quantity over quality? 🤮 -
