Apps like Hinge you have to send a photo of yourself, other apps like mister BnB requires verification on passports and or driving licences.
I am not saying that Grindr to go this deep, but to have accounts symbol to state they are verified. Maybe the Xtra accounts need to show a symbol as in some respects you have been verified by payment.
There are too many younger (-18) users which send images which are classed as indecent images. This needs to stop. The reporting tools need to have better tools to block accounts sooner on reports.
More needs to be done.
An error occurred while saving the comment Sean B commentedThis would be probably the best thing Grindr should follow. The amount of "fake" accounts, underage accounts and people catfishing is absolutely ridiculous! This also happens on other platforms, but verification would definitely be good.

I don't understand this change request? If you block an account, that person who you blocked could create a new account right? And re- view your profile!
Seen a guy near me that I probably block twice a week (and I won't go into reasons why as that between me and that person) because he creates a new profile ever 5 minutes!
What would be better is - block by IMEI or device! So if they do re-create a profile, they are blocked by that bit of information.
