More sophisticated profile
Even if it’s a hookup, most times you are going to want something to talk about before you unzip. Profiles are always loaded with user’s ridiculously rules, qualifications and expectations. Having a place to connect with someone on the basis of sports, education, jobs, interest would be a plus

if ethnicity filter is racist and is bad, then body type filter should be removed as well cos it's as bad as ethnicity filter, its body-shaming so how come you are ok with that? if you want to be so correct about it then remove that filter too

Please don't do this. You're just stretching the already brutal cultural and socio-economic divides. Especially in the big cities where users have to face daily discriminatory attacks on their person. This will just add firepower.

This could be a filter. And update requiring using to specify their country and the. We can filter based on our country. Living on a border sucks. This app is useless for border cities especially right now during a pendemic when the borders are closed. You can see local people because the population on the otherwise is much lager. Please resolve this.

Please reconsider this as the changing times have turned this into more of a dating app. The amount of information required for someone to just simply open your profile let alone actually talk to you or meet you cannot begin to represent you well in 250 characters or less

I can't stress enough how important it is for Grindr to let us type more about ourselves in the profiles' "About Me" section. There's no reason whatsoever that we should be limited to such a small entry!!!

If there was more space to actually add more screening criteria I might be willing to pay.
As it stands, it's not worth paying money for.

You are going to link your professional profile to a hook-up app?? You are all over thinking this🤣🤣
I could see this ending badly in soo many ways. Depending on your profession. Always keep business and pleasure separate.

Currently your platform only allows 250 character for a persons “About Me”. 250 Characters is not enough to describe oneself to others. By expanding it maybe to 500, you allow enough space for a person to fully describe who they are and prevent someone from misjudging or identifying a person and allow users to learn more about each other. Sure, your platform is used by many people looking for a hookup. But it’s not exclusive to just hooking up. People also use it for finding friends, dating and networking as are some of your “what are you looking for” options. I tried to describe myself and barely got a good description of who I am. Now I have to explain to people who I am and what I’m looking for in messages. Which is a waste of time for all when they could find out from a profile and know whether or not to message that person. However, I also know, not everyone uses it “About Me” section and not everyone reads it. But there are many of us who do and an extension would greatly impact the quality of the app.
