9. Fix Incorrect profile photos on Faves grid

   For several weeks the Faves grid randomly shows the wrong profile photo for people on the Faves grid - especially if the person doesn't have a profile photo. Really hard to determine if a Fave is online or not, or in your area or not. Refreshing the grid can sometimes show the same incorrect photo or a different person's profile photo, but blank profiles do not show the placeholder image in the Faves grid.

10. Getting all of the glitches worked out.

    I definitely feel as if the app can use some serious work. As I was chatting with some individuals this morning, the app crashes out of nowhere and every time that I would click the app, it would just go back to my phone screen. I know that I’m not the only person that keeps experiencing this problem. It would be great if the problem could be fixed ASAP because it’s getting frustrating.

11. No photos

    There are literally no photos on the entirety of the app, I can’t see anybody’s profile pictures I can’t see any of the images people send me I can’t even see the pictures on my own profile. no photos.

12. Navigation / swiping between profiles / pictures

    The navigation between profiles is sometimes quite annoying. Usually you need to use the upper left "<" to go back to the grid (either when in a conversation or flicking through photos or profiles).

    In many applications swiping from left to right (at the middle of the screen) does the same trick and is much more convenient in contrast to using the "<".

    It would be good if the left to right swiping would be applied consistently within the different sections of the App (from profile to profile / pictures within a profile or conversation) to come back to the Grid/overview.

    Currently there seems to be an error in the logic as sometimes I am tapping on the "<" and it is like a loop - picture or text and it takes several tapping before you're back at the grid. Maybe you can verify if all code is at the right place.

13. Profile Image Quality and Composition

    Profile images viewed in the grid view sometimes show more of the image composition compared to when viewed larger. The grid view is representing images in a square one-to-one ratio thumbnail appearance. But, when viewing the image larger, most smartphone screens are taller than wide, and therefore images submitted as 1028p x 1028p end up getting cropped. As far as I know, you are not able to drag to reposition, change the scale/zoom, or use multi-touch gestures like pinch to zoom, etc.

    It seems an app that almost relies on images; the overall implementation could be more elegant. Allow higher resolution images, use of multi-touch gestures, figure out the aspect ratio issue mentioned earlier, and maybe use artificial intelligence to evaluate images for quality, or even composition.

14. Move back button and other controls to bottom

    On most big modern smartphones the screen is simply too tall to reach the top of it with the fingers from your main hand that’s holding the phone. So you hold it with your left hand, possibly type with two thumbs and to reach the buttons at the top (e.g. the oft use back button on Grindr) you have no choice but to use your right hand and physically move it to the top of the screen to use these buttons. You cannot use Grindr with one hand only. Most apps are like this but please have a look at the Flipboard app. It’s designed for one handed use with all the home, back and forward buttons at the bottom. (See two screenshots attached). This is also why Apple moved the Safari search bar from the top to the bottom. (See third attached screenshot).

    So please consider how Grindr can be updated to be operated by only using one hand and having all the control buttons, and specifically the Back button, at the bottom.

18. We need the gender filter back!!!!!!!

    It is near impossible to find anyone even when you pay for the Plus or the extra when you cannot filter out the gender. It is a ridiculous amount of trans or even females that pop up on my grid in my area and I can't get out of it. Even when I drive around downtown Chicago I'm getting people outside of my area I don't understand either the grid system or your algorithm or this app is literally a scam.

    The original idea of not filtering by genders was supposed to be somehow very inclusive but is very much harming those of us. As a gay man I am starting to feel more than disrespected that grinder continues to choose profit over listening to other feedback this idea has been presented before. This idea really needs serious weight because it doesn't allow the app to work properly, those of us that are seeking a gender true man are having a lot of trouble doing this when there is a lot of other gender confusion in no way to filter by gender.

    Continuing to ignore this request feels irresponsible and something I wonder if we may need to consider as a community banding together some sort of official requests or seek legal help on this matter as the only app I see lately that doesn't seem to consider filtering by gender.
