block "For you" chats
I do not want Grindr to recommend chats, and I'm certainly not going to pay for the feature. In fact I would block most of the profiles that are listed (first two in list were crossdressers). If Grindr can keep all of its AI profiles in this area and off my grid then it's useful. Otherwise it's waste of space that I don't want to see.

Application miroire
Il semble qu'il y ait par moment une appli miroir qui sublombe l'appli d'origine, les profils affichés sont différents en une fraction de seconde et et même bloqués, certains comptes apparaissent comme actif.

SOMEONE IS YSING MY IDENTITY
Hi Admin,
I would like to report a concerning issue. It’s alarming that someone is using your platform to post photos without proper verification. To prevent this, I suggest implementing a stricter confirmation process, similar to Bumble’s face verification feature. This would ensure that users cannot upload photos without verifying their identity as the person in the image.
It’s important to address this issue to protect privacy and maintain the integrity of the platform. Please take immediate action to implement stricter measures for sign-ups and photo postings.
Thank you.

Options
It would be nice to have the option to upload ephemeral stories like on Instagram or communities with common interests like on WhatsApp.

Add option to opt in for anonymous notification of positive stds results
Enable anonymous notifications of positive stds results.
It could work like this, for example. Introduce an option to request to be notified if a given person reports a positive std result. This could be reinforced by asking the other person to agree (otherwise it could be technically possible for a person to continously monitor the std status of another person without them knowing, by regularly requesting notifications from only one person) . This permission could have a limited duration - perhaps chosen by both. In case of a positive result, the person could choose report it to grindr which would…

Discreet mode for chat
There should be a discreet mode for the chat to seem more like a regular chat app (such as WhatsApp or Telegram) instead of the easily recognizable dark background and yellow/blue messages, which draws too much attention and is quite obvious.

New fake profiles everyday
Few ideas to help:
-Grindr can add a necessary section that tells when the profile was created. This should help other users identify new fake profiles.
-Also with AI photo verification which is used in badoo and tinder.
- Or to add fone number as a must for registration

I think this app is to give an access to connect people closer instead of being experimented for AI.
I think this app is to give an access to connect with people closer instead of being experimented for AI. If the one sent the messages were not from a real man or even some scammers, it would be feel frustrated. But this point of view is only from my personal perspective.

Profile verification needed
There are way too many fake profiles on grindr, such that there is no way of knowing which one is a genuine profile. Like Tinder, you should have a face verification mechanism and a verified marker to at least allow the general users to distinguish between the unverified users and the verified ones. Highly necessary especially in places like India where I'm constantly struggling with catfishers and identity thieves. Please introduce this feature asap. Requesting as your paid subscriber.

Profile pic requirement
Mine is the lack of a profile picture requirement. It’s 2025—there’s no excuse for blank profiles, random pictures that don’t show your face, or endless chest pics. The app should require at least one clear picture of you, preferably more. Let’s make it easier for everyone to connect authentically and safely.”

I've been stood up 4 times in 3 weeks
All 4 were intentional. They lead me to a location and then block me. This will put a crimp in my cruising.
Grindr needs to make this a reportable offense with bans for repeat offenders. This shit has to stop. Now.

Fake account
As of lately, within the last two weeks, there has been an abundance of cross-dressing people showing up on my pages. It is like every other line there is a cross dresser, a drag queen, and half of these people are not even real. It is very frustrating and there’s nothing we can do about it. I’ve been blocking and blocking and blocking these people and mortgage keep popping up. Surely there’s not that many drag queen here in the Cape Coral market Seriously we need to do something about these fraudulent accounts

Educational Material - DVLA style support
The Issue at Hand
Grindr is an incredible tool for connection, whether for chatting, meeting, or finding community. However, for some, it’s also a space where vulnerabilities like addiction, loneliness, and harmful behaviours can flourish. This is not Grindr’s fault; people ultimately make their own choices. However, Grindr is in a unique position to offer support to users who may be at risk and to create meaningful moments of reflection and redirection. If a profile gets banned for example they could get a second chance if they go through an online DVLA style set of modules - a kind of…
