UNSHARE ALL
Please add an UNSHARE ALL or RELOCK ALL feature in Album Sharing. I’m beginning to find that there are users from the past who still have access to my private album but who do not show up in the “shared with” list. Besides there being another glitch with your app, we occasionally need to unshare with all for privacy and safety reasons!

Mock locations prohibited
Guys please allow the use of mock locations again. If this means we have to verify through a phone number like with scruff then that's fine. I can't date for almost 3 months now via grindr cause you guys are blocking the use of mock locations. I get the whole safety stuff but this is not the way to deal with that. Please guys 💔

Nsfw pics "ask first" option
So for NSFW pics options. They aren't specific enough. Like, I want to have an option that says "Ask First". Because people think that "not at first" just means "don't send a dick pic first thing". Like. I want explicit consent options.

Safety and Security and Children
There are and have been drug seekers of illegal distribution of pills, drug seekers of street drugs, drug dealers selling drugs, pedófilos and molestation of children because Grindr did not have the appropriate and necessary tools to protect and inhibit activities such as these that can pose health and safety risks on multiple levels. Washington D.C. and the TDC have been contacted. I urge you take immediate action to ensure these won’t ever happen again and giving users the option to report another profile or activity is not good enough and does not ensure someone will be reported or followed…

Validate Profiles with Verified Users
Allow for users to have the safeguard option of verified accounts/users. As much as I enjoy all the offers for a sensual massage, it’s clear they’re not real users. This feature will allow additional safety and validation on an app that is so widely used.

Verified users
Social media sites often offer verification to users to ensure authenticity and safety to other users when connecting.
Grindr is often used by people that are closeted, shy and discreet, therefore even a profile that is verified without a picture would increase the chances to users to connect.29 votes -
2FA & ID verified
2FA for account security (duh)
ID verified (optional) with the appropriate filter attached to confirm you're talking to real profiles. There are too many fake profiles being made, this would allow people to have the option to only communicate with people they know for a fact are who they say, while also allowing discreetness for those who chose to not participate.

Alert faceless profiles to send a picture in first message (if not preventing faceless profiles from messaging)
Hi there. Many of us prefer to have a peek at people’s faces before hooking up with them. The experience on the app is made infinitely less pleasurable when we are harassed by people who do not respect the NPNC signs.
Grindr already has a feature enabling users to filter out blank profiles. Can there be an identifying function that either requires blank profiles to send some form of media in their first message, to a user who has the requirement turned on? Or at least can there be a function kindly letting blank users know “this user has a…8 votes -
Leave the "send message" function disabled. Create the Match function.
The user can only send a message to the other person if they match the like. This avoids many problems of gratuitous offenses, bullying and discrimination.

Mock location
Without the simulated location feature, grindr would really be a boring, useless application, even causing users to reveal personal information about their own location, endangering themselves. so i canceled grindr's xtra package and will use my money on another dating app, grindr admins are really stupid to ban the use of location simulator

Allow me to appear offline to specific users.
Sometimes people can be way too persistent, and you'll want to feel free to use the app without making yourself available to those people. And while blocking people may be an appropriate course of action in some cases, there are other cases in which you may want to stay in touch with someone on only a limited basis. Blocking people who know you personally and to whom you may be subjected in real life can also create conflict which this feature could easily help people to avoid.

Grindr should very urgently launch a profile verification function because the amount and level of dangerous fake profiles is overwhelming!
There are many fake profiles especially in cities like Zurich where the percentage of fake profiles is overwhelming! And what is worse is that they go very far in trying to get personal data for fraud etc. By not having a verification function Grindr exposes its users to a lot of risks that the current features just do not properly cover or solve.

Implement User Verification for Enhanced Safety and Authentic Connections
For several years, Grindr users have been requesting a feature that allows for user verification. This is a crucial step toward ensuring the safety and mental well-being of the LGBTQ+ community, particularly gay men who predominantly use this platform. It is time for Grindr, as a major player in the dating app industry, to address this pressing issue.
The lack of a verification system on Grindr has led to an influx of catfish and fake profiles, which not only waste users’ time but also pose significant risks to their safety and mental health. Other dating apps such as Scruff, Tinder,…

Pic sharing policy
It has been ovserved that people see person sharing pic first and directly block without showing there pics
This should really be stopped or such profiles should be banned from using the app. Its clear injustice done to the one who shares the pic first10 votes -
Photo Verification
Loads of scambots and postitutes use this app.
They use screengrabs that are not them.
A 2 key, photo verification system would reduce this problem to nothing.114 votes -
Photo Verification
Having had my photos used on fake profiles as well as having been tricked using faked photos more times than I would like to admit I feel a photo verification process similar to Tinder’s is very necessary to the safety of users.
