Users stealing photos
I was talking to a guy, I asked for a photo of his body and he sent me a picture of me. Some days before I was talking to another guy and when I sent a pic he told me another user had sent him the same photo. This was not the first time it had happened. Anyway, I reported the guy's profile, took a picture of his profile and made it my own profile pic in order to warn other users. My account got terminated, while he's continues to be online. Grindr should take a look at their privacy…

Qué se pueda publicar fotos y vídeos tipo estados de WhatsApp que la duración sea de 30segundos y no más de 12 horas para ser vista que sean públicas y los perfiles cercanos a no más de 1km puedan mirarla e interactuar

Reporting fake profiles, misunderstanding others
Was trying to figure if person was real or not. Later on blocked me. was trying to figure out more if fake or real. Then I followed up with asking more details n person didn’t say much. Reason I asked was trying to figure out what the person was up to & everything

Profile watermark
All profile photos & videos uploaded are watermarked, including those that are sent to other users, to prevent ID fraud.

Preventive care
Verifying the person if he is vaccinated and to make sure that std/sti free my submitting test result , this will help to the spread of Std and other disease.
Can you guys provide a kit for each member to check if the person for std and sti.

Unreciprocated pictures
Have a swap pictures feature where a user can choose to send a picture in the chat but the receiving user cannot view the photo until they also send a photo. This will prevent users from agreeing to swap photos but not actually sending their photo after receiving a photo.

Eyes and vision Safety. Readability
One should be able to change font size in the chat or at least change colors of the blue and orange bubble boxes or or any alternative solution. And the Arabic font is so thin…

Discreet photo mode
There should be a mode a user can turn on where any photos received come through blurred or covered and have to be pressed to be revealed. I am often on the train and people can see over my shoulder. Would be nice that a guys naked photos don’t just pop up and have a mode where I can view them once the coast is clear

Fraud
Can there be a feature to show how long a user account has been on Grindr? There are fraud people who ask for private info and photos, and as soon as they receive it they block you so there is no way to report them or to trace it. They have many of these profiles so they can have one piece of info one at a time then they would compile it like they have your face pic, private pic, address, phone no, etc. Then they try to scam and do fraud. If it shows how long the user has…

Unblock
I would like to have the possibility to unblock people by date, e.g. everyone that I blocked more than a year or two years ago, and in bulk, not one by one.
Reason behind, the number of blocks is limited, and when you reach that limit you may want to unblock not all users but only the older ones (e.g. who don't remember you anymore, or who are too far away since you moved in the meantime)6 votes -

Gear needs to be taken off as a tag
I honestly think the gear tag needs to be taken off. It’s really horrible to see it’s being promoted, in so many aspects. I hope Grindr can see how degrading it is to promote drugs in general. Never should have been allowed.

The App is to easily being manipulated by hackers.
What frustrates me the most is when Users appear to be within a few thousand feet away from my location only to find out - once you engage in the conversation with such individuals - that they are in the Philippines or Ghana. How the hell they do that? Better security is required.

Grindr violates Consumer Rights (REPORT THEM)
The Consumer Protection Agency just assisted me in filing a report against Grindr. They CAN NOT keep your subscription money if they banned you and won't tell you why. They have to tell you or give you prorated money back. Apple is also on board with me. If this happens to you, REPORT THEM. They are stealing money. I would only do a monthly subscription. They stole 5 months of my subscription without a reason. Apple wants to be informed as well.
