The location
With the location letting people know how far away you are my distance is scary and safety issue. For example I was online and a someone contacted and sated you're only "3742 feet from me. Are you at..." and they listed my street and a store close to me. This made me worry. What if that was a stalker or someone looking to commit a crime. Grindr should do what other dating apps do and just list the city, not specific miles or feet someone is. I could see a possible law suit open up if someone was attacked or…

When you get a warning from grindr. It tells you nothing about what it was. You do not need to know who or when. Avoid false ones.
Some way, when a warning is issued you should get an email explaining the issue. You do not need to say from whom. Being subjected to a false allegation is not right either. You should not have to wait till the banned pops up because someone does not like your profile especially if it does not violate TOS, I realize moderators are there on a "complaint report", but that does not necessarily make the report Correct. A person should know the particular violation "if there is one.

I seem to only get messages from people that are not at all good....as if my account is spoofed or contolled
So I'm not sure if anyone else is experienced this but I've been on and off the app for a few years now and I finally extremely strange over the past 3 years. I know it sounds crazy at first so I thought too but every time I'm on the app I only seem to get messages from older men who are paying for sex or would expect so and or are expecting someone who is only after a certain type of drug-filled night once again almost expecting that they can purchase this individual by doing so. STI notifications
You should be able to mark profiles that you've met with (even if either party has blocked), and then if you test positive for an STI Grindr can push out a notification to get tested to all of those user profiles - possibly via SMS/email in case the user is inactive

A "We Fucked" badge
Like giving someone a favorite star, only this function has a dual purpose. With the badge only being visible to the account holder that enabled it, another option would be made available under the sexual health tab. "I've Screened Positive"(or other wording) button would be available to all account holders. Once pressed, a check box screen should open (some that should not have the functionality to be unchecked, to decrease potential false/revenge action) and a save button. Once the account holder updates this status, every account that the use had enabled the "we fucked" badge for, within a specific time…

Liars and flakes. They chat and say they are on their way to meet and then don’t show.
Far to many guys chat up a good story and then say they are on their way to meet. However, in spite of providing them with a phone number to contact me, there is no call and a no-show. This is happened to me so many times I am considering just canceling my Grindr account and forgetting about it too many of these guys are just assholes

Ethnicity should not have to be asked in the profile. It causes racial and sexual discrimination. People are just people. Why does it matter what ethnici they are when hooking up.

Making users locations impossible to spoof!
It would be incredibly, helpful and more secure if users couldn’t spoof their location, More guys, I talk with are being harassed & more or less stalked on the hook up apps. It’s just not worth it at this point. I had a home invasion because of this situation & I won’t go into details about it. I’m sure you understand the situation. I also know we put ourselves in this situation. However, there has to be something more that can be done.

I have a suspicion that my account has been hacked, but I can't verify it since I didn't use the conventional username and password login method, but instead through my gmail account, and neither can change the password for the same reason.
