Hide/remove/unshare album shared with you
Oftentimes I receive albums that I do not wish to see. It would be nice to be able to remove those from view or “unshare” the album on their behalf. Maybe can include a little notification in the chat for the other user that said “X stopped viewing your album” that would be fine

Taps funcionality
I work like to make a suggestion. Probably if it happens it would be a paid service but anyway. It should be an option to turn on/off the TAP funcionality and so being unable to send and receiving TAPs. At the time it's was a great ideia for a lot of people, but people like me often forget to see the TAPs tab. There are lot of people who just don't use it and don't like they use it to them, so it should be optional. Probably in a near future you realise that.

Prevent screen shot of profile pics
I have had my profile pics screenshot and used to set up fake profiles using my identity multiple times. This can be quite distressing. It would help if by default profile pictures could not be screenshot/stolen.

Screenshots
The app has a discreet option and yet allows anyone to screenshot your profile pictures of pictures you send them. Its really unfair so at least make a feature that gives the ability to lets your pictures to be screenshoted or not or completely disable screenshots because i really don’t see the reason.

🚨 🚨🚨 I reported some accounts who were abusing me and being nasty bullying me and threatening. But I was shocked to see them still on even after weeks and was monitoring their account if it was banned or not on daily basis as they might harm someone one day. While one time I defended my self back and call the guy by saying he is a hypocrite and then I get banned and not him. How is that Logical I don’t understand 😂

Profile creation time / Verification
To minimize catfishing, fake accounts and abusive people, I suggest seeing how long ago a profile was made.
Or adding a badge if someone is new.
People that get reported and blocked just keep creating new profiles to continue harassing others and I’m tired of it.9 votes -
banning people
It’s wrong that a lot of my friends and I have noticed you don’t actually investigate when people we may not even interact with even can just make a profile up and complain about someone falsely and have them banned without Grindr staff even investigating the claim. We have folllwed all rules and regulations but in this world people may feel rejected for simply then not being your type and are vindictive people who are insecure taking it to that extreme knowing you will ban them for good. Please block VPN users
There are a lot fake accounts who employ a VPN to populate a certain area and dominate the feed. Please block VPN fusers or safety reasons to prevent the unscrupulous cat fishers who employ this technology to harass and geofence competitors. Their dominance of an area essentially drives users away because their are fewer opportunities to meet authentic users.

Fakes & flakes reduction via legitimacy verification
An option to be verified or some way to ensure legitimacy because there are entirely too many flakes and fake accounts. It makes the app a joke

Blocking
One touch blocking. Just how users can currently Force Touch to favourite, chat, or report directly from the grid. Enabling one touch blocking would be helpful and efficient, and avoid sending a “who viewed you” notification to the profile which could allow people to see that you’ve blocked them in real-time

Deletion of photos from conversations if you delete them from a private gallery/media
Photos that you send to someone and then get deleted from a private gallery/media should disappear from the entire conversation in all people, not like it is currently that all photos stay and it should show that they are unavailable. Something similar to how it is on a gallery basis when you stop sharing an album and can't access it. In general, the problem is that photos should delete themselves with everyone after you delete them with yourself from the gallery/media

Biometric fingerprint Features Enable On/Off (scanner not functioning)
I need to express the convenience of finger print scanner biometrics to open app it so happens that once you setup pin the working features only is face id and some darkest areas that your smart phone can't open it up and you need manually inputed pin it is so important some user need to instant access. You can add on features enable biometrics on/of upon setting up most especially new or advance users.

True Incognito
Incognito mode should be true across the platform. People should not be able to see that I have opened the app. It’s annoying when “stalkers” can see you as a green dot in your messages. That’s why I pay for incognito mode!

Using IP address filter out business users such as escorts and other users seeking monetary benefits
Why can’t Grindr keep a log of IP address of users who have been reported as looking for monetary benefits. They keep coming back under different guises and/or already have multiple logins. How many can they spoof using VPN’s or hotspots ?

Everyone should be allowed to unsend any and all photos that are exchanged between the two Grindr party's do to safty concerns for each individual. People tend to save or screenshot other people photos with the intent to threaten, stock, harass, post derogatory comments attached to ones photo, and to share negative thoughts and feelings about a person to others in hopes of bringing the grinder community together for support to attack said person. Please it's a safety concern for people and it puts lives are in jeopardy

Restrict who can see me by age filter
Make it so we can restrict who is able to view our profiles based on an age filter. E.g making it so no one under 25 can view my profile.
This would be great for professionals who may work with people who use the app *e.g people who work with queer youth, teachers, counsellors (me) etc.

Location/ Discreet App Safety
Firstly being very sophisticated about go'v location and app installation protection. I have seen reports of Grindr attack in Jamaica, and the app is certainly lethal in places like Iran. Please, we must keep our brothers safe. I hope you will be able to scramble location and device data in a way which you can surreptitiously confirm will ongoingly fool go'v tech. This app is monitored in all countries, and in these less deadly nations, it is essential that Grindr become unrecognized to the OS and in particular Google and Google Play via discreet app icon. Teníamos perfiles para ver ahora son muy pocos y ver quien nos mira ya no es opción para entrar. No tanto limite no tanto bloqueo la comunidad es grande y queremos como cuando empezamos ACCESIBILIDAD
