Llevo más de 6 años usando la app, lo cual e visto la evolución de la misma. Sin embargo este último año a la fecha, siento que grindr perdió fama por 2 cosas que es la sugerencia que vengo a escribir.
1- Anteriormente un usuario normal y corriente (sin membresía) podía ver quien lo vio sin ninguna restricción. Actualmente tienes que ser miembro unlimited para poder accesar a esa herramienta, por lo menos aquí en México, la membresía Unlimited (Mensual) es por $992 pesos mexicanos, Creo que excede mucho la capacidad económica en México,…5 votes -

I understand your business model, but I recently enjoyed a promotion whereby I paid 99¢ for a month. When it ended, I saw that a month of Xtra is $23.99. WTF??? Seriously, Grindr? You can’t charge like $7 per month and still make a profitable killing?

What's with the monetization of super fat and super skinny people?
a friend and I who are both on grindr were talking about our experiences on the app and they were talking about how they don't get a lot of attention because they're fat, and I at first boiled it down to fatphobia/body shaming, and out of curiosity I used the weight filter and put in 300+ lbs minimum to see if my friend would come up, and the results automatically switched to XTRA/Unlimited and I couldn't see my friend's account unless I paid a monthly premium. Ability to un-read read messages
You can "unsend" messages as well as "delete", "reply to (specific message)", and "search" for messages but what if you read a message that either you don't want the person knowing or it's quite simply just not convenient to reply as that time? You should be able to mark read messages as unread.

Paid past photos and messages need to ne available
If I paid for unlimited, and someone messages me or sends photos, if my membership expires, we should still have access to those messages and photos. Those were sent during a paid subscription of $39.00!!!, then leave those messages and photos in that subscription time frame available. Stop blocking access.

“5 remaining expiring photos” banner is obstructing user controls
Whenever I go to my photos in a chat, a banner pops up letting me know I have “5 remaining expiring photos” for the day, and includes a link to upgrade.
The problem is that the banner covers up the button to go back to my chats, and it lasts for several seconds longer than it takes to select and send a photo. That might not sound like a long time, but if you’re in a populated area and trying to deal with lots of messages quickly, it’s an excruciating user experience.

Please add an option for religion.
It would be great to see “religion” as an option. Not all gay men are atheist and some men have strong ties to their faith and would like to talk to guys who shared the same religious beliefs/practices. E.g. Christian, Judaism, Islam, Buddhist, Quaker, Morman, JW, Sikh, Hindu, Spiritual, Agnostic & Athiest.

Allow us to create our own “tag” right there and then instead of suggesting “tag”
When we search for a tag, it only gives the option to suggest a tag instead of allowing us to create that custom tag. It’s be way more efficient if in search engine side people look for a custom tag to what they desire out of it. And having one you can create right there and then, makes it an efficient method to find and be found by what you looking for.
By all means, give it a time for you to accept suck tag as you do revision and authorised pictures. But allow it to happen and it’ll make…5 votes
