Can you guys looking into some social features for when you're in an especially gay area. Maspalomas Gran Canaria is like this, and if you could ask a question towards the people in your general area, such "Where is everyone going tonight?" And then people can answer. Or where do you find the sexiest underwear in Maspalomas, and then people can comment and answer those things.

The unlimited subscription is way too expensive.
Paying almost half of $100 every month for a mobile app has become too expensive. With respect, the monthly fee is similar to what most other paid apps charge annually for a subscription. The cost of a Grindr subscription for a year is $519.48, which is exorbitant. The cost of Xtra is still high, but comparatively reasonable. It would be great to have a single subscription option with all the features at a decent price. Not being able to click & open profiles on the Who's Viewed Me feature except on Unlimited
Make the Viewed Me feature free for Xtra members at least...having to have Unlimited to access this is sheer greed on Grindr's part

The cost of simply being able to go beyond the end of my street
Why for the love of God are there TWO separate systems for “unlocking” profiles of guys? I can’t think of a good reason except to profiteer.
My suggestion:
Loosen the criteria on what we can see for free.
Merge XTRA and unlimited and lower the cost.
Allow us to see ALL profiles of who has viewed us - from a safety point of view, we do need to know things like that.5 votes -
Filter for Trans and CD’s
Grindr costs more than my gym membership yet even on an unlimited subscription members cannot filter out trans, CDS and straight fetish couples from view. As a gay man who is only interested in men I and many others find this offensive and disrespectful to who we are as gay men!!!
My membership costs should not include me being subjected to or Grindr trying to sell me on dating “women” cds or make members vulnerable to straight couples who fetishize gay men… There needs to be filter options to block out members from seeing these individuals per our own dating…5 votes -

Specific Gender/ sexuality Personalization filters
As a gay app primarily for gay men there needs to be an option to allow users to filter or hide trans men/ trans women profiles and also a filter for trans women or men to filter gay users. Just the same or see only trans interested specific users of based off their personal interests. These tiles are considered valuable Realestate to those of us who are paying 40$/month. As a gay man to find other gay men not women. Women should simply not be showing up on my profile if we are not even interested in women or trans.…

Hide (not block) profiles
It would be nice to be able to HIDE a profile from the grid. There are some people that I don’t want to block, but just don’t need to see in the grid for whatever reason (friends, we’ve talked/hooked up before, they’re my hot neighbor, they’re a FWB and we’re not currently fucking, etc). The feature doesn’t need to be fancy, just “hide without preventing messaging”

Llevo más de 6 años usando la app, lo cual e visto la evolución de la misma. Sin embargo este último año a la fecha, siento que grindr perdió fama por 2 cosas que es la sugerencia que vengo a escribir.
1- Anteriormente un usuario normal y corriente (sin membresía) podía ver quien lo vio sin ninguna restricción. Upgrade price
I understand your business model, but I recently enjoyed a promotion whereby I paid 99¢ for a month. When it ended, I saw that a month of Xtra is $23.99. WTF??? Seriously, Grindr? You can’t charge like $7 per month and still make a profitable killing?
