o aplicativo criou uma via de mão única: você diz do que gosta, mas não consegue encontrar quem também gosta das mesmas coisas ou quem está procurando por pessoas do seu perfil. É o famoso "faltou fechar o ciclo".
Sugestão: Seria ótimo ter um filtro de busca para encontrar usuários que também curtem as mesmas tribos que eu, ou que estão buscando pessoas com o meu perfil cultural. Vai melhorar muito

Reinstore searching age as it was. Havung to set a 5yr range reduces results. Theres now no one i want tocchat to
New age range having to be 5 years apart. Dumb. Reeuces search results to the point where i can speak to anyone im interested in

Block out or filter profiles with no photos
I keep getting profiles with no photos at all or proper filled in profiles, it's not good or helpful when your trying to see who is interested in you, why can't you just have a setting to block out profiles with no photos or profiles not filled in.
There are too many fake profiles like that so it would help your users quite a lot.

Enough is enough already. Make a new app for them and migrate them over. This is not a place "for everybody", this is a gay space and it's annoying with all the limitations you bestowed upon us, it's vital for our grid not to be polluted. Same goes for other filters. You will never find your type on this app. Forget it. Add a filter "looking for age group"
I am a 48 year old looking for young 18+ guys. I want a filter that would show me young guys looking for my approx age. So in profile description if you add "looking for age group" 18-25, 26-30, 31-35 so on and so forth. It would be easier to find my type of guys rather than randomly asking all the young guys "interested in uncles?"

Improve Cross-City Browsing & Messaging to Increase Engagement
I’d like to suggest an improvement regarding cross-city browsing and messaging.
Currently, limiting users to messaging only one person per day in other cities makes it very difficult to build meaningful connections — especially for people who travel, are considering relocation, or are genuinely open to long-distance relationships.
Many users don’t only look for immediate local meetups. Some are searching for something serious, and restricting communication reduces the chances of forming real connections.
To improve engagement and competitiveness, I suggest:
• Allowing more flexible messaging in other cities (even with reasonable limits)

Gay men + girl bffs
I don’t have a Grindr account, but I would if there was a BFF section. I hear the girls are annoying the guys looking for a hookup bc there is no specified section for this. The world is better with gays in it and I love and adore my gay BFFs! Will & Grace, Carie and Stanford, Rachel & Kurt, RuPaul and Michelle! It would help Grindr expand their reach while protecting and segmenting those looking for romantic / physical connections vs those simply looking for awesome friendships. 💗

Make top bot vers orientation mandatory in profile
Without making orientation mandatory, free filtering with orientation is difficult, 70% users doesn't have a orientation type and purpose of filtering in useless.

Make a trans women app ONLY, NOT GRINDR
I see a lot of trans women, and straights, Grindr used to be an only gay app, now “straights” and women, take to much space on the grid, I miss the old days, when Grindr used to be only for gay men, bi men, and trans men, it used to be only men, maybe feminine guys but not women
