It would be an amazing idea to maybe actually reach out to a user when you get a violation report to gain their input rather the. Fix Banning System
Called out a pretty obvious catfish for being a fake profile (but did not report them yet, which I now regret.) At this accusation, they got very upset and said that I was actually the catfish (I'm clearly not) and that they were reporting me as a fake profile. My profile keeps getting banned and flagged when I report people for harassing me. Customer support never does anything
Customer support is garbage. I have been flagged and banned multiple times for doing absolutely nothing wrong. On multiple occasions I was banned for reporting harassment and Hate speech. After contacting customer service, I never receive a reply. Ever. I treat people with respect and dignity and get harassed and berated on a daily basis. Yet I'm the one who gets flagged and banned.

Chat lost when you are blocked, seriously?
It has absolutely no sense to hide chat history when someone is blocking me. How can I prove if I get harassed? How can I report the guy? How can I block him?

I receive multiple vanishing pics from spam accounts every day but non from genuine users
These are sent via bots which block as soon as the pic is viewed. The use of disappearing pics and knowing when an image is read must mean these are premium accounts. The pattern of behaviour would be easy to search for so these accounts could be permanently banned. It's irritating enough I've taken the time to write this out!

Not Interested” Tap
Hi Grindr Team,
I hope you’re doing well! I wanted to suggest a small but helpful feature that could improve user experience. It would be great to have a “Not Interested” tap, similar to the existing taps like “Looking” or “Friendly.”
Sometimes, responding to messages just to say no feels awkward, and blocking can feel too harsh. A simple tap to indicate disinterest would allow users to acknowledge messages without the pressure of responding or resorting to blocking.
I believe this would make interactions smoother and more respectful for everyone. Hope you’ll consider it!

Bad guys
Hello guys and girls in Cypress. Please get your site under control. The bad guys hit you up and try to get info then disappear. It's getting ugly. Is it better to to contact FCC or FBI for this kind of crime?. Also your add at the beginning of the search, uses 7 or 8 attempt before it clears should I copy them on that too. Messages still readable after being blocked
Someone can send you some really hateful messages and the second you read them they block you so you can't actually report them for it. Make accounts and messages of people you've talked to still viewable so you can report them.

Remove profile promoting OnlyFans
Recently I have experienced a large influx of profiles and messages that are promoting Onlyfans accounts. This is making it harder to use the app for its intended purpose, finding “meaningful connections” 😆
I also think that OF people are exploiting Grindr users, sometimes promising them S E X in exchange for subscribing, which is obviously not true. Sometimes they even put this on their profile.

Start organising the suggestions/feedback
Start deleting and merging feedback that are either saying the same thing or no longer relevant. There are hundreds of pages of suggestions as old as 6 years which are either repeats or irrelevant making it hard to navigate. Start organising them so the feedback is more streamlined and people are able to find the things they want to vote for easier

Separate women from gays and bi+
Listen, I want women to have their safe space, I do! But allowing women on Grindr has really made the place very toxic for gays and theys and bi+ people. We are entitled to a space where we can avoid the women only kind of guys that are invading our Queer Space. This isn’t what this app used to be and this isn’t what this app should be now.

Equality in profile pictures
I'm always finding super revealing pictures on other people's profiles. I don't think all the moderators approve the same quality of pictures. Some profiles can have super revealing pictures on their profile, while other profiles can only have mild pictures when it comes to body and nudity. So can we just have equality all across the board here??
