Impersonation Detection
For the love of fick, when a user logs in with an auth/ocsp account validate the inbound certificate, check it vs the majority lat/long precise, the IMEI and the device and when you can determine that there are two people using one account .... Just maybe run a natural language parsing function on the outgoing messages and when you can determine one of them is malicious or defamatory, save yourself the round about data subpoena after all the trauma and life threatening, career ending, relationship murdering bs and inform the account owner who will thank you for being good stewards…

How to beat stalking on Grindr 101
Many people came before me with the same problem. Your app has done many things that I can count. You should make it more safe. I am more healthy but some people have been cause more prychological problems through your app. Your own community does not like it. It’s a ring of unorganized criminal behavior. I’ve gotten hacked and blackballed by using your app. But I’m speaking up for those who can’t.

Block Screenshotting of all Pictures
Shouldn’t be an upgraded feature. It should be automatically blocked screenshot of anyone’s pictures across the board for the safety and security of your users. How many people send a picture thinking they are safe & protected on your platform and someone uses that or those picture(s) against them or catfish that person and sends said pictures to tons of people. You shouldn’t have to pay or upgrade to you security and safety violated by untrustworthy people.

NEW PRIVACY FEATURE
No one individual(s) should havd the right to look at my profile and their profile and identity remains hidden. What sense does that make. I feel a certain type of way and actually violated because who are you? My profile and Identity is just as important to me as your identity and profile are to the Individuals. A membership should not be required this feature. And If so then I should have and right, because I have rights, members or not they should not be allowed to view my profile it makes me feel like they have something to hide.…

Multi select to hide more than 1 at a time
The grid is overwhelmed with fake accounts and dozens of profiles using the same pictures. If the developers can't stop these fake accounts, at least give users the ability to more easily remove them from view. Having to hide one at a time is a severe pain and dissatisfier. Please give the ability to select several profiles at once to hide/block.

Ability to block friends or parentheses with the phone number
How many times have friends or relatives said to us, "I saw you on that app"? It's really embarrassing because you can't block or hide people from a phone number.
How it should work:
1. Enter the phone number of that person or those people and save it.
2. Grindr will accept the numbers without saying whether there is actually an account linked to them.
3. Those people will not be able to see you in the app, nor will you be able to see them.0 votes -

Grindr has become remarkably popular over the years and has a large number of users. The problem arises when creating an account: the app does not ask for proof of identity via ID or 3D face scan, which means that you "only" have to declare that you are 18 or older. This translates into: • Automated bots that are created to tap on people.
• Minors signing up for the app.Other dating apps verify your identity, and in my opinion, this should be mandatory for everyone's safety.

Should Grindr add mini-games like Friday Night Funkin' to ease the tension?

While we are having heated debates about the ethnicity filter and app features, I was thinking: what if Grindr integrated some fun elements to keep the community engaged?
For example, a rhythm-based mini-game similar to Friday Night Funkin. Imagine having a "rap battle" feature or FNF-style stickers to break the ice with a match!
