Do not show someone else's location, if the person chooses to hide it's own location
As a user of Grindr for a very long time, I want to address a privacy issue. If a user is willing to keep it's distance hidden from other users, then he should also not be able to see someone else's distance, even if the other person has kept their distance settings "turned on". This results in enhanced privacy and trust building.

List of shared locations, and unshare option, safety
It is very easy to share locations with others, but to find back shared locations in every single chat and keep track of it all is a lot more hastle. Especially since (living) location can be such sensitive information. It would be great to have a list of all my shared locations and an option to unsend/delete those locations, somewhat similar to how albums work.

Profile creation date
Please add a new update to your app that will allow us to see when users created their accounts. I'm sure this will protect other people from dangerous individuals using fake profiles.

Hello Grindr leadership! Let's get Grindr into merchant services. Whether it's going out on a date or in need lube, it would be convenient to exchange money on the app in my chat. Dating gets chaotic when we have to launch so many apps, call Lyft, and keep my hunny interested all the while. I want to offer rideshare in app as well.

For those who dont subscribe, some kind of spam-bot, douche -nozzle filter
For the most part sometimes its as convenient as hitting the block, hide, or delete chat option but after awhile these profiles tend to hit with some frequency and cause a detraction which then causes a headache. Theyre easy enough to spot, but the system could use some much needed filtration allowing us to dedicate more of our time to socializing.

Safety

Please add a feature to block screenshots of profile photos, private albums, and chats. This is very important for user privacy and safety. Many people can misuse screenshots, so stronger screenshot protection is needed. Please treat this as a serious safety feature request.

sincero. Mas não proíbe os perfis fakes e sem fotos, os perfis deveria ter por obrigação , todos os perfis deveria ter fotos nítidas e verdadeiras. Isso é um absurdo, pessoas se esconderem por traz de perfis. Podendo ser pessoas maliciosas e de má fé. Você não pode colocar uma foto sensual porque fere as diretrizes do aplicativo. Beziehungsweise das teilen beenden. Das kann ich entweder wenn ich über 1000 Leute einzeln anklicke und dann das Teilen beenden wähle oder ich lösche das ganze Album was auch schade wäre und unnötige Zeitverschwendung. Bitte einen alle markieren Button an den Start bringen. (und nebenbei: der amount von Eigenwerbung, obwohl man für unlimited bezahlt, ist, schon echt grenzwertig, ständig poppt irgendwas auf.

AI data training should be Auto Opt Out
I am so uncomfortable that everyone is automatically opted in to have their chats photos and locations fed to train an AI and even if you opt out the data has still been taken. THIS SHOULD BE OPT OUT BY DEFAULT I am horrified that pictures of me might have been used to train an AI when i opted out the second I could. This is shameful and terrifying

Roll back roam
Are you fucking retarded? Your platform is already flooded with scammers and roam will just help facilitate that problem. Your management has already driven this platform into the ground, now you cater to scammers over real users. Typical corporate idiocy. Sorry your investors want a bigger pay day. Maybe if you provided a service that helped users rather than putting everything behind 15 layers of subscription you wouldn’t be circling the drain

Feature Request: Message Requests / Opt-in Chat for Safety
Hello Team,
I would like to suggest a new safety feature: "Message Requests".
The Feature: Instead of allowing direct messages from anyone instantly, the app should notify the recipient that "Profile X wants to send you a message," giving the user the option to Accept or Decline before the chat opens.
Why it is important: This feature is crucial to prevent harassment, verbal abuse, and unwanted interactions. Allowing users to screen incoming chats from strangers would greatly improve user safety and mental well-being on the platform.

grindr please add a multiple user detector. too many fake profiles and catfish around. people keep creating new accounts after getting blocked. users need better protection.
along with block this account and any new accounts they create future :)

Fake profiles reported= incentives
Since you don’t screen profiles when they are made, and it seems people on the grid do more security then you do. Once people have successfully reported fake profiles or bots maybe they can get a prize, like a free week of grindr x or something like that. Since it is almost a daily occurrence for getting fake profiles in your dms

Make blocking and reporting spam easier
We can usually see pretty quickly from viewing a profile or message if it’s spam, or maybe someone we know and need to block urgently. Current state, we need to click on the profile or chat and are forced to watch a video before we can even block or report. This could be a safety issue if we’re blocking someone for a reason. We really should be able to block and report faster and easier. My suggestion would be for the add to have a delay which lets us hit the block or report button, and stops the add from…
