VERIFICATION
You need to verify users. I was physically attacked by a 20+ year old that was portraying a 18 year old that then said he was a 15 year old. You keep this shit up…you will be fucking sued so hard by those being attacked.

Scammers or abusers who block you, and how extremely difficult it is to report them or hold them accountable, promoting bad behavior
Have a mechanism where people request a block, and must give a reason for that can be reviewed. It is far too easy for people to have bad behavior and provide scams. Looking for personal information with no accountability. At the least pushback to the requests, they just block you and carry on with your bad behavior. similarly to people who give an address and then block you when you arrive and such things. The worst thing about these apps is how poorly some people behave and there’s no way to keep them accountable. It runs everyone’s experience on here…

I get the ads pay for the app but the ads with the loud sound that suddenly blare no matter where you are is a HUGE infringement of privacy!

Identification associated to each profile is urgent
Every user should be identified by government identity system or id in order to prevent fake omophobic profiles

Verified users should be marked and there should be a filter.
Start verifying users who put up their face pics. There’s too many fake profiles and users scamming people. Grindr needs to actively participate in the safety of the queer community. We are a minority and we do not have the same opportunities to meet people like the heteronormative social space. Verified users should be able to search other verified users.

Block viewed me
Grindr needs to restore the block button on the "viewed me" page. This is a safety issue. There are people/profiles who can/will constantly look at your profile without ever making contact. Without the block button, we will have to go looking for them and if they have no info on their profile how are we supposed to find them? Yes it can be an inconvenience, and yes some might prefer it isn't there, but this will become a serious nuisance.

Please make sharing album mutually. i.e. The other person can only see your album once they share their's as well and vice versa.

In your setting you should be able to also select
In settings you should be able to also select the age range of only the ages that you wish to see your profile. For example, if you are only looking for someone no older than 30, you can adjust your settings to prevent anyone older than that specified age to see your profile.

By uploading a head shot which is forced to be taken with the device front facing camera only guarantees authentication of the users profile,
This will eliminate spam, fake & Bots.A New Tab with everyone near you who has this feature..
I know for a fact this will wash out the undesirable profiles and blank avatars.Grindr you need to be doing more around security and safety of your customers & I understand that by forcing everyone to have a profile picture may be detrimental,

Meu maior problema é as pessoas acharem que eu sou de menor sendo que eu sou de maior e o app não recorrer a isso e verificar e acabo banido
Então a ideia deveria ser o seguinte toda pessoa que fosse criar uma conta no grindr para não correr o risco de entrar um de menor ou então entrar uma pessoa com aparência mais nova que só por conta disso as pessoas acham que por conta da aparência a gente é de menor e acaba denunciando a gente o app acaba banido né sem nem dar nem uma justificativa ou verificar se isso é verdade mesmo seria uma boa que toda vez que a pessoa fosse criar pedisse a identidade né porque daí o app saberia que a pessoa não…
