Searchable distances you morons in development
Far from a new idea but I don't know any other dating applications that doesn't provide this feature I pay you GOOD HARD EARNED MONEY to never be wrong about these things so tell your management this Karen is coming for them in a bad way soon if you don't reimpliment distance searching. I get matched with people 100, 200, 300 miles from me. Do your employees at Grindr make some sort of kick back from a location service if tou allow them to find me matches 300 miles away? I bet you fucks do.

Disable Grunt
Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make the app give off a full volume sexual grunt when you open it? Without ANY warning. Do y’all realize that in certain areas of the world this could give people away and put them in danger? Not to mention the embarrassment of having your phone make sexual sounds in public. My phone keeps randomly making the grunt sound when it’s locked and I’m not touching it. I first heard it in the middle of the night and let me tell you it is freaking terrifying to be woken up…

Albums
I get that you have chosen to set albums as a premium feature but not all users can afford or want to pay for premium due to how little they use the app.
This I my suggestion: make it possible for free members to have 2 albums, but limit the maximum number of photos to 2-3 for each album or across both albums 5 maximum photos( 2 for 1st album pg only ie: face pics and 3 for 2nd x rated ie: body and private areas. Also screen shot/record protect all albums for free and premium. Then remove the limit…

Distance of users on grid.
Grindr and Lyft need to team up cause nobody has wheels out here in the Midwest. Hookups are too far between each other/aren’t safe parts of Toledo to be in at hookup-hours. That and users could then run up a grindr tab and pay it off by driving other tricks around “appointments”.

See log in locations . Secure the app.
Be able to see where you are logged in, as well as being able to log out from unauthorized devices. And don’t sync messages when switch device.

Grindr should very urgently launch a profile verification function because the amount and level of dangerous fake profiles is overwhelming!
There are many fake profiles especially in cities like Zurich where the percentage of fake profiles is overwhelming! And what is worse is that they go very far in trying to get personal data for fraud etc. By not having a verification function Grindr exposes its users to a lot of risks that the current features just do not properly cover or solve.

me gustaría que así como esta prohibido tomar captura de pantalla a las fotos efímeras y las fotos de álbum, se restringiera tomar captura a las fotos de perfil, para evitar que otros usuarios las roben y las usen como suyas. Me sucede muy seguido que otros usuarios toman mis fotos de perfil, las colocan en sus perfiles y se hacen pasar por mi.

"viewed me" section
Either move viewed me back to where it was, or just get rid of it... Firstly, the recently viewed me section is so irrelevant, it just tells you who has look at your profile and doesn't want to talk to you. Tell me how that information can be used in any useful way? And now you've made it so you have to go through that pointless section to go to your taps.. Waste of time, you're just trying to push things in our faces that we need the paid version to see. It's cringe. The section is trash to begin…

Leave the "send message" function disabled. Create the Match function.
The user can only send a message to the other person if they match the like. This avoids many problems of gratuitous offenses, bullying and discrimination.

Alert faceless profiles to send a picture in first message (if not preventing faceless profiles from messaging)
Hi there. Many of us prefer to have a peek at people’s faces before hooking up with them. The experience on the app is made infinitely less pleasurable when we are harassed by people who do not respect the NPNC signs.
Grindr already has a feature enabling users to filter out blank profiles. Can there be an identifying function that either requires blank profiles to send some form of media in their first message, to a user who has the requirement turned on? When creating a profile, it should be mandatory to complete at least the statistics section. It made finding what we want a lot easier.

I think it's facilitating danger that there is no way to report individuals who are potentially dangerous to the users of this app.
I think it is pivotal that Grind'r takes a proactive stance when it comes to individuals who initiate violence or danger. If they act with any hostile, threatening,or terrorizing behavior. If they steal or purposely damage property with intent to cause harm. It is a failure of public safety that someone with the capability should be allowed access to do it again. Chances are if they get away unpunished for unsociable bad acts, they're more than likely going to do it again, stepping up the violence to the point of no return. Because there's no avenue to report it here…

Please start requiring account creation only with document verification and facial recognition, so that fake accounts can no longer be created.

More convenient way to instantly take a pic so people can’t get away with loading old photos or photos of others.
Make a way for people to conveniently take and send instant photos, so both users can know exactly what the person looks like that they are meeting. Make the instant photos different from photos added from phone albums, so people know that they’re live photos.
