3. Dual screen - allowing continuous use of a platform simultaneously watching and hearing the commercials

   Have a split screen where the commercial only takes over a half a screen and allows us the patron to continue using the platform i.e. reading mail sending messages or scrolling through the different users instead of blocking the app completely forcing them to wait out the commercial timing and not being able to bypass or skip it unless they close off the app completely and reopen it which seems to be faster than watching the commercials

6. Temu Ad

   Temu almost always makes the ‘x’ untouchable. I’ve erased games off my phone bc of these stupid ads that will take you to the store or, if you have the app, it opens every gd time. They make enough money so quit shilling for them. They’re making more than this app makes guaranteed. Your membership is too expensive but don’t make it up with ads that make you want to quit altogether.

7. Stuck at 1500 rating on chess com

   I have been playing for two years and I feel like I have hit a wall. I fluctuate around 1500 and cannot seem to break through to the next level. I watch videos and do puzzles but my game is not improving. I feel like I need someone to look at my games and tell me what I am doing wrong. Has anyone tried personal coaching? 10. Proposal for Multilingual HIV & PrEP Health Resources for Grindr Users in Morocco

    Dear Grindr Team,
    I hope you are doing well.
    I am writing to propose an initiative that could meaningfully improve access to sexual health information for Grindr users in Morocco, in line with the health and safety resources already available to users in the United States.
    Specifically, I suggest creating an official informational profile or in-app resource hub for Morocco that provides clear, evidence-based information on HIV, PrEP, STI prevention, testing, and treatment. A key element of this initiative would be ensuring that the content itself is available in three languages, Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), French, and English, to maximize accessibility for users across the country.
    In Morocco, there are well-established and credible organizations such as the Association de Lutte Contre le Sida (ALCS), among others, which offer HIV testing, counseling, medical follow-up, and up-to-date information on prevention, including PrEP and modern treatments, as well as free prevention tools (e.g., condoms and lubricants). Highlighting verified local resources would help ensure accuracy, trust, and cultural relevance for users.
    Such a resource could:
    Normalize conversations around HIV, PrEP, and sexual health without stigma
    Help users understand that effective prevention and treatment options are available today
    Encourage testing and early treatment through trusted local channels
    Reflect Grindr’s existing public health efforts in the U.S., adapted to a local context
    Providing this information in multiple languages is particularly important in Morocco, where users may have different linguistic backgrounds but share the same need for clear, reassuring, and empowering health messaging.

11. why ads on spam

    Why do I have to sit through an ad to report spam?

    I am getting multiple spam messages a day yet how you design the app is that whenever you click into a message from someone new you have to sit through an ad before you are able to respond, or in this case report them. Allow us to report spam directly from the message screen without clicking into the chat. Unless spam accounts are actually Grindr's way of boosting engagement with this now frustrating example of enshittification

    Can you people let us pay one price to remove just the ads? The app wouldn’t be as abysmal if the ads went away. Or can you make it so we can watch one long ad for an hour or two of ad free browsing?

    We understand that Ads on the app aren't going anywhere for free users. We ask that you make the ad experience less dreadful and honestly less invasive. The ads shown on grindr typically make you wait 10-60 seconds (sometimes longer) before you can interact with the app again. Not only does this waste user time and increase frustration, but it essentially locks you out of your phone. Ads begin playing loud sounds unprompted, even in silent modes. The ads can't be closed without pixel perfect accuracy and many times open a new window in a browser without user permission.

    Ads should always follow the same format/time engagement, should have clear buttons to close the ad once complete, and should not open a new window unless approved by the user with an additonal approval button to exit the app.
