Block my contact
Please add an option so that I can give you my phone contacts list. And you let me block them so they can't see me on this app. It makes my privacy more and it helps me be secure because I live in a country that banned lgbt and even it's dangerous if your family and friends find out about it.

Place the date of when the account is open in the profile. In the format 00/00/0000. That will help us to know if that “person“ is a scam.
Put the start date of the account in all accounts. Paid or free.

Somewhere to add your FAAAAAAKIN'email if you sign in via Google Accout Login because it doesn't automatically propogate the account!! Gosh.

Vibration Option
In notification settings make it so you can turn off the Grindr Sound notification. Really annoying that I have to have my entire phone on vibrate or turn Grindr notifications off when around family and young ones in the family. No idea why that isn't available.

Terrible judgment on the developers part regarding muck locations. Are you idiots?
Look I get it You can create an app You can write code You can do a lot of things but apparently you have no idea what responsibility is and you have a terrible terrible definition of the idea of safety and privacy and this is in regards to the ability to use a mock location. Granted there should be limitations to such a right and you should absolutely control it but denying the ability to use it and claiming as a safety and privacy concern is literally ass backwards so much that it would make a homosexual repulsed specifically…

Greater reporting and moderation
Grindr does not have the best reporting options. Recently reported two profiles that were impersonators using pictures that were not theirs. Grindr only took action on one profile and left the other active. Shameful. We should be given the option of supplying links to someone's Instagram or socials if that's where photos have been taken from.

Why are the prices so high? You also take away previously free features to force users to pay more. It’s inequitable and icky.

Block list management
Your system makes it borderline impossible to find a blocked account and unblock them after a user has blocked many other people. I'm certain I'm far from the only Xtra subscriber who feels like this is some kind of abusive tactic to make us pay for unlimited just to get incognito mode. It's extremely frustrating and makes me want to quit using Grindr altogether. I'm nearly certain to do just that if it's not fixed in the next 3 months.

community help and standards issue.
I get you want to protect the community but protecting them when they’re wrong and not informed is inhumane and inconsiderate of you. you’re causing more harm then good you basically keep making them stupid and behave in inhumane ways and justify that behavior when you’re not helping the community you’re training them to be killers. This is a hook up app not to instill misinformation and make them into something they’re not. Quit manipulating them immediately.

Zero Knowledge Encryption?
It appears that Grindr is transitioning to server side cloud storage of message content however there hasn't been any clarification in the privacy policy of how this data will be protected. Given the highly intimate nature of Grindr interactions and the historical marginalization and criminalization of the homosexual community, it’s existential to the Grindr business model that identity and message content can only be accessed by the 2 intended parties. Otherwise lack of trust and confidence will eventually cause cancellations. This seemingly was not an issue earlier, when messages were end-to-end encrypted and stored on device.

Fake picture removal
I have seen many of the profiles are sharing/misusing someone else pictures. Have faced many complications due to that. To avoid that, why don't use the face recognization option to upload pictures. We have enabled Camera option already. For time being, let's block the option of uploading pictures. I am sure no one is uploading anything useful to anyone in our community. Instead, the only option to share their picture is to take their face picture using camera which will be uploaded in app to be shared. Yet High chances are there that people take picture of an other photograph…

provide feedback on accounts reported; end the harassment
I've reported several profiles - the same person is harassing me. I never hear back what action has been taken. I know it's the same person because they are always the same distance away, are someone I've never seen before and they have really hot pics. When I reverse image search their pics they are always stolen from another account. YOU NEED TO VERIFY ACCOUNTS or at minimum show how long the person has had an account. I'm getting tired of using this site and be stalked/harassed/ by homophobic sociopaths. Why does Grinder make it to easy to be harassed?
