UNABLE TO FILTER TRANS WOMEN
And femmes too. Using grindr has become the most off putting experience as a gay man. Sorry nothing ruins the mood faster than being obliged to see intimate photos of something you just find hideous and aren’t attracted to (that’s just my experience sorry).

Filter for ethnicity type users are looking for
I feel that it would be best to add to the filter ethnicity types to help better search the kind of men each grindr member is looking for.
So far it’s good since we can search between tops, bottoms and versatile but adding the choice of ethnicity we are looking for would be a tremendous help and make this app so much better.14 votes -

Have the option to search by sex too, instead of just your position you like.

Add “cuddles” to the “what we’re looking for” tag
Some people are asexual or sometimes just arent currently looking for sex. Sometimes, we’re just wanting to hold or be held- no sex. So many people will think “cuddles/cuddling” as a name means to cuddle and then have sex- it would be more efficient to have a “position” as “cuddle” or “no sex” even. Having your position only eludes to the fact that u might wind up wanting sex. We need something for those of us with a strict no sex boundary for that time period at least.

Deprioritize uninterested users in cascade
When users views your profile with no further interaction or you’re left on read by another user, the cascade should move that individual down or out of your cascade to make room for those profiles with no previous profile activity. The “mark recently chatted” , read receipts, and “viewed me” metadata should help inform this potentially new “feature” that is automatic for all users. I have user stories written if we need to go there.

Tags for ABDL and Diapers. There should be more ways to filter
Existing tags don't cover ABDL community. WS and underwear is not the same thing. And ABDL is kind of diverse. Should also be a way to distinguish the adult babies from the diaper lovers. ABDL is definitely not for everyone. So would be extremely useful to be able to identify exactly instead of having to approximate with other tags. Especially when people don't fill out their profiles

uGuys need to add little pop up avatars to rhe map for people like me to quickly find people at a glance by acrolling the map, like hw snpch
Look at snapchat maps, how they used to have it(?) set up. It looked cool, like hot and cold. You could, based off of tags and #of texts a person has, show how hot or cold you are to a match, let the fae (octupus) figure out the rest 💋

More Filters
Need more filter to sort through profiles. Allowing users to sort by Race/Gender/MTF or FTM/Combination will help to not see profiles who are trans.

Why is it that thicker people's butt pictures get banned but skinny people can have five pictures
90% of the gays on here are rude self-centered they believe there are 10 when they're only a seven skinny and attractive people can post whatever they want... I think the moderators are fatphobic

Make options Sub / Master in “Position”
There are many kinky guys on Grindr, and adding Sub (submissive) and Master to the Position section would be very helpful to connect faster.
