Blocking
Bring back blocking that doesn’t require you to first converse with someone. My ex lives close by and I’ve tried blocking him but can’t because he won’t answer. Which means he knows my distance just by looking at my profile but I can’t block him to ensure my safety.

Stop Sharing Album with Everyone
A button to stop sharing your album with everyone at one time. At the moment, you have to select people individually (of which I have hundred and hundreds) or you can delete the album entirely. Feels like a quick fix, but a big win.

Perfiles con foto obligatoria
Debería ser obligatoria la foto de rostro en los perfiles porque es demasiado peligroso para los usuarios que ustedes dicen cuidar. Por la seguros de todos deberían hacerlo urgente! Hay mucha gente psicopata y enferma que amenaza y hostiga y no se puede hacer nada

Biggest pain point: Performance and spam

Thank you for creating a space where we can share feedback — I appreciate the effort being put into improving the app.
That said, the biggest issue I’m currently facing is a combination of sluggish performance and ongoing problems with spam or fake accounts.
Performance: The app often feels slow or unresponsive, especially when opening chats, loading profiles, or switching between tabs. Even on a relatively new device with a strong internet connection, the lag can be noticeable. It affects the overall experience and makes everyday use frustrating at times.

Just a thought
You should make it so people don’t see you’ve viewed them unless they look at your profile for more then 10-20. It shouldn’t look like you’re interested just because you’re scrolling through profiles.

Feature Suggestion – Option to Hide Online Status
Hi everyone,
I’ve been using Grindr for a while and really appreciate the updates, but I was wondering if there's a way to request a feature or if others feel the same. I think it would be useful to have an option to hide our online status or appear offline to certain users or in general. Sometimes users just want to browse quietly or take a break from chats without appearing rude. I checked the app settings but didn’t find anything related to this. The word “tr*nny” should not be allowed, seeing cis men using violent language/slurs to sexualize trans people is concerning
I feel as though allowing this slur is more harmful than empowering in this context. Grindr allows everyone of all gender identities to use such words that have been and still are used to dehumanize members of this vulnerable community. Sexualizing trans peoples’ existence as a whole is harmful in many ways and does lead to real life violence. I think this word is completely fine when used by a consenting trans person, but I do not want to see it, and I know most other trans people I’ve spoken to certainly do not either. Even if you put on your profile that you only accept contact with a photo, many people without a photo don't read the profile and continue sending messages. A feature that allows you to only accept contact with people who have a photo. Preferably, face photo
