o app esta cheio de golpistas solicitando fotos intimas e contato pessoal para depois acusar vitima de portar pornografia infantil. precisamos de verificação de idade através de id como em app de banco e verificação de imagem. não só pra previnir menores de idade em ter acesso a plataforma, mas na redução de pessoas má intencionadas usando imagem falsa.

Turn off notifications from only specified person
Add feature to turn off all notifications from a person such as a received message or tap but still see the message or tap later. It could be beneficial if you dont want to block someone but not be distributed by him. Thanks.

Privacy features should not cost a premium
Essential privacy controls are too important to require a premium payment. I know you need to generate revenues, but it is a safety issue and there should at least be a way to completely hide one's profile at the basic free tier. This would be more limiting for the user than Incognito mode, and would include being unable to browse other profiles or send/receive messages -- essentially temporarily suspending the app. Basically nobody could see you, but you can't see them either. Then at the paid tier users could use incognito mode and browse and communicate while their own profiles…

show the registered date to prevent the user from having a fake account or a con artist
there are too many fake accounts from con artists. that wastes people's time and makes people take risks. showing the registered date of the user could let people know who is more likely to be real. thank you very much!

So manipulative and confusion
There is a lot happening in my life with triggers, and some guys are fake, catfish, and take advantage of deaf people. They don't realize what others can do behind their back. Everyone makes mistakes, so why not stop mocking and making them, especially when it comes to alcohol and drug addiction? Deaf people struggle with mental health, and it's not right for random guys to use drugs with them without their knowledge and then use their personal information and pictures. This needs to be prevented.

Mandatory 2-Factor Authentication
Yes, everyone should be using unique passwords. Yes, people should not share information that they would not want unintended viewers to see. Yes, if people have a problem with its security practices they can move to other apps. Do these (false) assumptions of the userbase mean the implementation of proper safeguarding practices should be ignored? Absolutely not.
Grindr serves an incredibly vulnerable population. Since it is by the most popular platform for this population, it is its responsibility to do what is most ethically and morally responsible, even if it makes people slightly awkward when logging in.

Block phone or computer IP address
The block button should block that persons phone/computer instead of just that login. That way they can’t just create a new account and keep messaging you. I met this guy on here and things just didn’t work but he is psychologically obsessed and creates new profiles daily and uses fake pics the reason I know is because I will tap explorer and move to the area he lives and boom there is the profile he just messaged me from right at his house. It’s getting kinda scary actually. It’s been 6 months and he doesn’t give up!

Allow users to opt out of being messaged by "recently joined" profiles unless a user initiated contact first
As Grindr allows users to have multiple profiles and unlimited or Xtra features transfer after a very short wait when switching profiles, the ability for abusive exes or stalkers to continue to pursue their victims by repeatedly creating new profiles to harass, bully, or threaten them renders the app unpleasant and at times unusable. Allowing individuals to opt out of being messaged by these profiles is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY as a free feature in the app to protect users. Allow for linking of MyChart and the Grindr app to verify, std results, prep usage, treatment and such things. Screenshots can be misleading and people can edit those as well!!

Block can be exploited to grab facenpics
I am under the impression that there are screenshot grabbers who exploit the block feature. If someone ask a face pic one has the time to grab a screenshot and block in a second, that is unfair.

Age verification
Please require age verification through ID and Drivers License. This is a serious issue and something that endangers the lives of users on both side of the screen ! We need this to create a safer environment and experience for users, and to restrict underage users from using the platform.

Adding a feature to block people from the phone contact list would significantly enhance user safety and comfort on Grindr, especially in LGBTQ-prohibited countries like Maldives with a small population. hide from an individual
I think there should be a setting where we can chose to hide our profile from certain individuals, i know therfe is incognito option but that is to be invisible to everyone, you get annoying individuals who do get obsessive and when they get banned they come back with a new account and it gets tiring repeating the reporting process, so how about a setting where we can chose to go incognito to just an individual and not to everyone as having a paranoid ex that ive had to have the police contacted countless times, when he has seen me…
