Album feature
One of the annoying things lately about Albums, is the person requesting your album doesn’t send theirs. To make it fair, if Grindr albums had a feature, once both albums are sent then you can see the other person album knowing it’s a mutual share . Not just left in the dark, why he hasn’t sent his album?

Reported users notifications
Sometimes im catching myself instead of interacting with grindr users i am just looking for catfish, bots, scams, users offering escort services, selling drugs etc.etc profiles. I got addicted to this especially now when grindr full of them. We report them, but we dont know the outcome. if grindr actually banned them or even investigated these profiles. Would be good if you guys could notify what actions was taken. Something similar to Instagram when I report profile, after few days I get notification what happened after investigation: if profile was suspended, no action was taken, profile was notified about breach…

Idea/Ideal
My idea, well.:. ideal would be to reinforce your security features with the app and stop allowing cheaters to use the app and get rid of tracks. Or maybe the one behind this app( creator) it is a cheating person and came up with this only to cover his tracks. Also my ex was able to get into 2 of my accounts, read my messages and also shut down the accounts and I still can't recover them. Unethical reasoning for suspension of account
My grindr account got blocked without knowing the reasoning behind it. Being American background in the region of Rennes, Bretagne, France can be challenging owing to strong cultural differences. I feel personally attacked by recent messages forcing to sleep or have immediate sex which are not my style of meeting. Please explain the reason for suspension for 2 days.

Bring back screenshots with individual images in the chat
It would be a good idea to bring back the screenshots with images in individual chats. I used it quite a bit because I like the risqué stuff, and several others do too.

Get rid of fake profiles
They tried to blackmail me with my annual photos. I believed that he was a real person and exchanged photos with him. Please verify when creating a profile by photo that you are a real person. If you are really real, it will not be difficult for you to confirm your identity. I don't want anyone to experience it on themselves

Add a Discreet name change for app
It’s cool that we can have a discreet Icon logo. But doesn’t mean anything especially if people still see the name. My suggestion is the discreet icon app name. That way if anyone’s ever on your phone or is overlooking your phone while you’re opening other apps this one won’t stick out as much. It makes it more comfortable for other discreet people. I think it’s efficient and I think a lot of people actually want something like that.

Profile viewing notifications
Hi there, I think the notification on profile view leads to health concerns. With this feature I believe that users are more concerned with the amount of times they are shown to view a profile, rather than taking their time reading the content of the profile. This is a big concern with undetectability for HIV, regular testing, and general interests. Please consider.

Mandatory profile verification to prevent fake accounts.
I understand that users want secrecy and discretion, which leads them to not have a photo of their face on their profile, but in the account creation process verification should be mandatory to avoid fake accounts.

Email verification should be required!!!
Grindr is like one of the few platforms that do not require email verification to be a registered user.
This is definitely what attributes people to remain completely anonymous and act like fraudent criminals. It has allowed the level of spam and in my personal experience it has helped drive a campaign of mass community harassment and stalking fed by rumors. It should also be required for your phone number to get associated with your account. And no VoIP numbers. Legitimate numbers.

Aqui tudo acontece muito rápido, as pessoas se conhecem e se encontram sem referência, rola encontro em casa, em festa, na rua, em evento, e muitas vezes isso envolve risco real. Falta uma ferramenta simples dentro do próprio Grindr que ajude de verdade na proteção do usuário. Algo prático, tipo botão de emergência, compartilhamento de localização quando a pessoa vai se encontrar com alguém, opção de check-in antes e depois do encontro, alertas de comportamento suspeito, histórico seguro, selo de perfil confiável…

Keep conversation after being blocked
When someone blocks you, the conversation immediately disappears. Bad actors have used that to say hateful or threatening things and then quickly block you before you can report them. It means that dangerous people can use your platform unchecked. That isn't okay. Change it to be like Facebook, where you cannot message someone who has contacted them but they can't just block you to avoid being reported.

As with other dating apps, adding a filter requiring registration with identity verification not only mitigates but also reduces the number of fake profiles we have to access. Without needing a profile picture to maintain security in various countries, it would be essential for profiles registered with identity verification (whether ID, passport, etc.) to be recorded in the system. And if their profiles are banned multiple times for creating fake accounts, they should lose all access to the application.

I’d like to formally report and raise a concern regarding the increasing frequency of spam/bot accounts I’ve been encountering. Over the past several days, I’ve noticed a significant uptick in clearly fake accounts that are disruptive to the platform experience. Here are the specific patterns I’ve observed:
