    In the city where I live, there are A LOT of straight men creating profiles on grindr because they are looking for trans woman. Then, here, it is very usual to read on some profiles: "NO MEN PLEASE"... Which I find a bit sad considering that grindr is firstly a gay dating app...

    Oh come on mate... having a type is not being racist. Why do you have to be such a douche?

    The only thing grindr succeeded in doing is that now I don't have fun anymore, I don't meet guys anymore when I'm in my home country because I'm just not that much into white guys. Sorry not sorry.

    Before, I could use the filter and meet the very few middle Eastern, South Asians and black guys in the region, but now it's like looking for a piece of sand in the ocean...

    I had grindr extra for more than 7 years, and now I won't ever renew it. Too bad.

    I love guys from every race, because every race have some amazing dude out there. However, taste and desire always change and evolve. I may like strawberries, but it doesn't mean that I want them everyday! It's the same with guys, diversity is important.

    I live in a country where 99% of the guys are white, like me. I was really really happy when I could use grindr to find someone from another background. The only thing you changed by removing this filter is that now I have way less fun, meet with less guys, and spend hours scrolling this app unefficiently.

    I was using this ethnicity filter a lot, because some days I wanted a specific type, and another day, I wanted a different one.

    It was really a great feature and everyone I know was paying grindr extra just for it. It help us meeting people with different culture and background. For example, I met my best friend using it!
